This mission is located in the northern part of the Upper West Side. You can fast travel to a nearby Police Department.

The Heart of the Matter Walkthrough

Rescue Osborn

Step	Objective
1	Take Out the Snipers Take out the snipers on the rooftops to make fighting the remaining Demons easier.
2	Fight the Demons Fight all the other Demons in the area.
3	Fight the Sable Forces Take out the Sable mercenaries that arrive.
4	Make your Way Through the Facility Enter the facility and head downwards by following the objective markers to get to Osborn. Avoid touching the parts that have been infected by Mister Negative's powers.
5	Jump to the Area Below Drop down to a shaft to encounter Mister Negative.
6	Follow Mister Negative Once you're drawn into his world again, follow him through the area to escape it.
7	Defeat Mister Negative Defeat Mister Negative by dodging his attacks and attacking him when he's weakened.

How to Beat Mister Negative
Dodge his Melee Attacks Dodge his Negative Blasts Web Strike When he's Weakenedd Prioritize the Phantoms in the Second Phase Swing Away From the Giant Demon's Attacks

Dodge his Melee Attacks

Mister Negative will lunge at you with his sword and start slashing away. Dodge away as he lunges at you. You can web-pull objects to throw at him after a successful dodge.

Dodge his Negative Blasts

During the fight, Mister Negative will fire negative blasts at you. Similar to your encounter in The One That Got Away, dodge upwards if he spreads his hands out to both sides, and dodge to the side if his hands go to one side.

Web Strike When he's Weakened

After several blasts and melee attacks, Mister Negative will briefly lose his powers. Web strike towards him and do a combo to deal great damage.

Prioritize the Phantoms in the Second Phase

In the second phase, Mister Negative will summon phantoms to fight for him. Focus on beating them before attacking Mister Negative again since they can interrupt your attacks and be a nuisance.

Swing Away From the Giant Demon's Attacks

Mister Negative will be able to take the form of a giant Demon in the second phase. You'll need to swing or jump away from the Demon's attacks since they have a large AoE.
