Graphics Settings

The PC version will have updated graphics settings even compared to the PS5 version. Environments in the game will have their models and materials improved and will benefit from the addition of heightened ray-traced reflections and ambient shadows.

Ray-Traced Reflections

Ray-traced reflections
There will be various quality levels for reflections so that users can tailor them to their hardware. This setting will enhance the look and feel of playing as Spider-Man thanks to the more realistic surroundings.

Improved Shadows

Spiderman ambient shadows
The PC version of the game will have improved shadows and ambient lighting so that daytime and nighttime gameplay will feel particularly distinct.

DLSS and DLAA Support

Users with RTX GPUs can take advantage of NVIDIA's DLSS technology that increases image quality without sacrificing framerates. DLAA is also supported and can be utilized for even higher levels of image quality.

Unlocked Framerate

Performance Mode
PC users won't be restricted to just 60 FPS thanks to the unlocked framerate which will allow for gaming in 144FPS and beyond, giving players a smoother experience. Users with high-end systems can take full advantage of this by maximizing graphics settings while still enjoying high framerates.

Ultra-Wide Monitor Support

Ultrawide Spiderman
The arrival to PC will allow for Ultra-Wide Monitor Support, further expanding the canvas for you to play as Spider-Man. Swinging through the cityscape will be even more immersive.

Customizable Controls

Spiderman controls
Users will be able to remap their buttons depending on their wants and needs, and are free to choose between using a keyboard or a controller. The PC version will even support the DualSense controller.

DualSense Support

As mentioned previously, PC users won't miss out on the PS5 version's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers since they can connect their DualSense controller to their PC and use it for Spider-Man.

Performance & Fidelity Modes

PlayStation 5 users have the option to choose between Performance & Fidelity modes. Performance mode has 60FPS with slight ray-tracing while Fidelity mode has 30FPS with increased ray-tracing.

Since the PC version will have unlocked framerates, this setting will not be included. The use of ray-tracing will also depend on your current GPU.

Peter Parker Model

Ben Jordan as Peter Parker
The original release of the game featured John Bubniak as the facial model for Peter Parker. With the release of the remastered version, Insomniac Games has decided on remaking Peter's character model with Ben Jordan while keeping Yuri Lowenthal as the titular character's voice actor.

Faster Loading Times

Thanks to the PS5's built-in SSD, load times were significantly cut down to almost loading instantly. PC users will be able to have the same result depending on their system, and if they load the game on an SSD as well, instead of an HDD.
