Defeat the Abyssal Demon to Get Abyssal Spine

Abyssal Demon

The Abyssal Spine is a rare material since it can only be obtained by defeating the Abyssal Demon and is a core material for Abyssal Whip. The Abyssal Demon can be found wandering Bloodblight Swamp, Whispering Swamp, and Fractured Plains.

How to Defeat the Abyssal Demon

Defeat Enemies in Dragonkin Vaults to Get Vault Shard and Vault Core

Vault Shard and Vault Core are also rare materials since they can only be obtained from the enemies inside Dragonkin Vaults.

Vault Shard can drop from the following enemies:

  • Vault Archon
  • Vault Guardian Hulk
  • Vault Guardian Sentinel
  • Vault Overlord

On the other hand, Vault Core are found on pedestals in Dragonkin Vaults or as loot from Vault Guardians.

Once all the materials are obtained, including Hard Leather and Ram Horn, craft the Abyssal Whip at the Smithing Anvil.

How to Defeat the Abyssal Demon

Attack from a High Platform

One strategy to easily defeat the Abyssal Demon is by attacking it from a high platform like a roof. Use Windstep to jump on to a high platform, then use a bow to attack it or use spells.

The Abyssal Demon can't attack targets on an elevated surface, causing it to virtually just stand still in one place. This makes it easier to hit the demon and win the fight.
