Find the Entrance Behind Vines
The entrance to Stormtouched Highlands Vault is behind some vines that you'll need to cut with an axe. The small sunken area behind this is filled with bulbs that can explode and inflict poison, so make sure to shoot them from a distance.
Near the end of this area is a rock wall that you'll need to destroy with your pickaxe or the Rocksplotion spell to gain access to the vault proper.
Vines Are Located Near the End of the River
The vines are located at the end of the river at the base of the mountainside. Follow the river upwards until you reach the end and you'll see the vines covering a small passageway leading into the base of the mountain.
Defeat the Vault Guardians
Once inside the vault, head through the left corridor and down some stairs until you reach a small passageway with a rotating fire trap and into a large cave system where you can spot some Vault Guardian Hulks and Vault Guardian Sentinels patrolling the top floor.
Make your way to the top floor and dispatch the Vault Guardians to safely loot the chest and avoid getting chased into the next area.
Interact with the Dragonkin Effigy
Make your way through the corridor and just past the fire trap, turn left and interact with the Dragonkin Effigy to obtain the recipe for the Dragonkin Mage Hood.
Make Your Way Through the Fire Traps
Continue through the corridor and up the stairs to a large passage covered with spinning fire traps. Wait for the fire beams to spin away from the center and sprint towards the end of the hallway.
Note: If you have the Anti-Dragon Shield, you can use it to block the fire traps and safely pass through the corridor unscathed.
Enter the Newly Opened Door
Continue through the corridor and pull the lever at the end of the room. You'll end up back to the starting area and you can now access the previously closed door to the left from the first corridor.
Take out the two giant rats here and make your way through the flaming floor trap to the next area.
Use Windstep to Navigate the Area
Head up the stairs and you'll reach a large open area and a bottomless pit int he center. You'll need to make your way through the ruined pillars to to the next area but the path is blocked by several fire traps.
This area is open enough where you can use Windstep safely and the spell is required to reach a hidden area where you can loot a Vault Core from a pedestal.
Go through the path until you reach a wall and look behind to interact with a Dragonkin Effigy to receive the Dragonkin Mage Robe Legs recipe.
Clear the Room of Vault Guardians
Make your way up some stairs to reach a large open area with several Vault Guardians. Both hulks and sentinels patrol this area so carefully pick off each one-by-one to avoid getting swarmed.
Once all enemies are defeated, interact with the Dragonkin Effigy in this room to receive the recipe to craft Dragonkin Mage Robes.
Defeat the Vault Overlord
Make your way to the end of the room and pull the lever to open the door to the boss are which contains some fire traps and a Vault Overlord. This guardian primarily attacks with melee so it's best to kite the boss with ranged or magic.
Once defeated, interact with the Dragonkin Effigy on the bottom floor to receive the recipe for the Dragonbone Dagger. Make sure to grab the Vault Core on the top floor from the pedestal before leaving the vault.
Stormtouched Highlands Vault Rewards
Three Vault Cores
Stormtouched Vault has a total of three Vault Cores you can loot. These are used to build advanced crafting stations such as the Smithing Anvil or to craft Masterwork Weapons.
Dragonkin Mage Set and Dragonkin Dagger
You can find four Dragonkin Effigies within the vault that will impart the knowledge to craft the Dragonkin Mage Hood, Dragonkin Mage Robes, Dragonkin Mage Robe Legs, as well as a Dragonbone Dagger.

Stormtouched Highlands Vault Location
The Stormtouched Highlands Vault is a partially hidden vault located on the northwestern part of the Stormtouched Highlands. To access the Vault, you'll need to cut through some vines and clear some rocks to reveal the entrance.

The Stormtouched Highlands Vault has a lot of traps and Vault Guardians that can deal a lot of damage. We recommend bringing a healthy supply of healing potions, as well as food and clean water before venturing in.
We also recommend crafting the Anti-Dragon Shield before entering the vault as it grants complete protection from the many fire traps in the vault.
