How to Unlock Dog Days
Talk to Vannaka in Stormtouched Highlands
The Dog Days secondary quests starts by finding Vannaka in Stormtouched Highlands and talking to him about the garou camps and their ritual practices in the region.
Dog Days Walkthrough
Search Garou Camps Beneath Giant Wyrm Bones
From Vannaka's camp, travel west to the giant wyrm spine. You'll find garou enemies camped beneath the skeleton, like Vannaka said. Defeat them and go to the west end of the spine to find a chest and a lore book required to progress the quest.
Challenge a Garou King in Their Highland Stronghold
Next, go to the fort on the northwest end of Stormtouched Highlands and search for the Garou King inside. This enemy hits like a fantasy truck but can only attack in close range. We recommend using ranged attacks with a bow or spells and kite him until he dies and drops the Tainted King's Token.
Complete the Ritual of Purification on the King's Token
Return to Vannaka with the token and he will ask you to purify it using the ritual in the lore book that you found earlier.
Before you go to the shrine where "a heart once beat", be sure to have 2 Ram Horns and 3 Shock Bulbs. The Rams and Wild Lapulis Vines that drop these items are also found in the highlands.
When you're done collecting the items, go to the northern part of Stormtouched Highlands and look for the shrine guarded by three garou. Defeat them and perform the ritual with the items to proceed.
Bring the Purified King's Token to Vannaka
Go back to Vannaka's camp with the Purified King's Token and show it to him to receive a Garou Highborn's Cloak and complete the quest!
Dog Days Rewards
Garou Highborn's Cloak
Completing Dog Days rewards you with the Garou Highborn's Cloak that increases all defenses by two points when worn.
