Can You Kill the Ghost Girl?

You Cannot Kill the Ghost Girl

Unfortunately, the Ghost Girl cannot be killed with a shovel. With this, it is best to avoid it once it spawns in the moon you are currently in!

How to Counter the Ghost Girl

  1. Wait for the Audio Cues to Stop
  2. Volunteer for the Terminal When Haunted
  3. Run Away and Stay Alive When Chased
  4. Taking a Shower Does Not Work

Wait for the Audio Cues to Stop

When a Ghost Girl spawns, do not look behind you while the audio cue is still playing.

When the the audio cue stops, the Ghost Girl has despawned. It will be safe to turn around and look behind, but not in long hallways.

Volunteer for the Terminal When Haunted

Tip How It Works
Block line of sight from the ship entrance with furniture Without line of sight, a Ghost Girl will only spawn outside the ship
Keep your back towards the ship entrance Even if a Ghost Girl spawns, she will despawn shortly as long as the player does not keep looking at her

When you are haunted, volunteer or switch places with the current player on the Terminal.

We recommend either moving the furniture around, or never looking back towards the ship entrance.

Run Away and Stay Alive When Chased

Ghost Girls cannot be killed and will haunt a single player for a whole work day. Compared to a Jester, however, Ghost Girls are not run-enders.

Players can outrun a Ghost Girl. If chased by a Ghost Girl, we recommend dropping your items to have max speed and stamina. Keep away from the Ghost Girl and stay alive.

Taking a Shower Does Not Work

Taking a Shower does not work to make a Ghost Girl stop haunting a player.

Furniture such as the shower and the cabinet only interfere with the Ghost Girl's spawn mechanics, which need line of sight.
