Turn Off Turrets by accessing the Ship's Terminal and enter its code name in Lethal Company. Read on to know how to turn off Turrets, how to avoid them, and where they can be located.
Upon encountering a Turret, scan it from a safe distance and use the walkie-talkie to communicate with the player at the ship. Have them use the terminal and disable the Turret by typing its code name. Turrets cannot be permanently disabled, so make your way past it before it returns to its normal state.
Some Turrets are placed on top of rails, so maintain communications with the player monitoring the team.
It might be tempting, but do not hit Turrets with a shovel or a sign since it will only cause them to go Berserk and fire away while spinning around, cause unwanted noise, and potentially give away your location to the entities within the building.
It's also worth noting that Turrets do not target entities so there's no point in luring entities towards them.
If there's no one guarding the ship to observe the monitor, a player's best bet is to use a flashlight and scan the area for possible loot and seeing a Turret from afar. Upon encountering one that's planted on the ground, simply go behind it because a Turret's detection is wide and cone-shaped.
If the Turret is placed on a railing, do not approach it and check other locations instead.
Landmines are sometimes planted at dark corners and has a ringing sound when the player scans near them. Disable the landmine by entering the code on the Ship's Terminal after a teammate scans it.
Remember to always communicate with teammates for deactivation, and make your way past through it within five seconds before the landmine functions back to normal.
Turrets spawn randomly in buildings on different moons, so there's no specific location for them to spawn. However, we speculate that Turrets are usually found in abandoned buildings with really dark rooms.
Buy and use pro-flashlights using the Ship's Terminal to see better in buildings with dark rooms.
Most of the time, there will be rooms with lots of loot and there's a good chance that a Turret is placed nearby. The most effective way of knowing is communicating via the walkie-talkie since the player at the Ship can see everything on the monitor.
Sometimes, Turrets can also be found placed on top of the railings inside buildings. Once a player comes into its view, it will fire away so make sure to scan it from a safe distance. After knowing the code, have the player at the Ship disable it before proceeding.
