New Monsters

Nutcracker

The Nutcracker, armed with shotguns, is one of the two new monsters added in this update. These creatures will exclusively appear in mansion maps and will shoot at anything that moves!

You can also take the shotguns of the Nutcrackers by defeating them. The easiest way is to strike from behind while they're scanning or when they're reloading their shotguns. Once defeated, they'll drop the shotguns along with shotgun shells for you to use.

Dramatic Masks

A new masked monster has also been added in the Frosty Update. To encounter it, you or your teammate just need to wear the new mask items, which have a chance to transform the wearer into these monsters.

Yes, you might become the monster by wearing them, so think twice before choosing to put them on!

New Keybind Settings

The Version 45 Update also introduced a new keybind feature, allowing you to customize controls fully to your liking.

Arachnophobia Mode

Arachnophobia Mode is a fun new feature that replaces spiders with the word SPIDER. So instead of seeing actual spiders on maps, you'll see a walking word instead, perfect for those who actually have arachnophobia!

Gravity Damage

The Version 45 Update also improved the game's gravity. This means that you will take more damage on every fall you take, so be extra careful when jumping around!

Improved Mansion Map Generation

In light of the gravity change, Moons with mansions as their maps will now benefit from improved map generation. This enhancement will decrease the likelihood of falls, providing a much better and immersive experience when exploring these moons.

Spray Cans

You can now use spray cans virtually anywhere on the map. Use them to mark walls, paths, or essentially anything that can help you track your way in case you get lost.

Other Changes

Delivery Ship's Festive Twist

To match the holiday season, the delivery ship will now play festive music upon its arrival on moons. It will also take on the appearance of a Christmas tree, complete with an added star topper and Christmas lights to capture the holiday spirit.

Enemy Changes

The update also made changes to the behaviors of Thumpers and Forest Keepers. Thumpers will now be harder to avoid, while Forest Keepers will be much easier to avoid.

New Items

The Version 45 update introduced two new items to the game in addition to the masks: gift boxes and chemistry flasks. The gift boxes are new scraps that can contain loot when opened, while the chemistry flask serves no special purpose other than being a scrap.
