| The reverently named Earth Leviathan, of the family Piscicolidae, is one of the largest invertebrates found around the Thistle Nebula. None have been captured, so not much is known of their biology. They seem to behave as predators. It is speculated they can burrow as far as 40 meters underground, judging by the incredible excavations they can leave behind. They can detect even the slightest vibrations, and for this reason it is not recommended to stay still if they are nearby; that is a myth. Instead, if you hear them burrowing, retrace your steps. |
The Earth Leviathan (Worm) is a monster that can spawn Outdoors. Do note that the Earth Leviathan (Worm) can be encountered in all of the moons that can be explored in Lethal Company.
Unfortunately, the Earth Leviathan cannot be killed with a shovel. With this, it is best to avoid it once it spawns in the moon you are currently in!
If an Earth Leviathan is targeting you, drop heavy scrap such as large axles and bottles so that you have enough stamina and movement speed.
Afterwards, run to an opposite direction outside the Earth Leviathan's attack area.
At night, it can be easy to miss the black particles signaling an Earth Leviathan's attack.
A player on the Terminal is incredibly helpful to warn other players early of an impending Earth Leviathan attack.
Earth Leviathans roam underground and can only be seen when it emerges and leaps high into the air.
An Earth Leviathan's attack is telegraphed by a loud growling noise, followed by black particles rising from the ground.
It is important to be observant of these two signals, as Earth Leviathans will kill players in one hit.
Earth Leviathans are also infamous for eating scrap the player has.
