How to Beat Seifer and Edea
This is a walkthrough for the boss Seifer and Edea from the game Final Fantasy VIII (FF8, FFVIII). Read on for tips and strategy about how to beat them, including their stats and other useful information.
How to beat Seifer and Edea
Preparation
Draw command. GF Carbuncle, Magic Dispel.
Moveset
Seifer will still have the same moveset as when you previously fought him. Edea will use Dispel, Death, Maelstrom, Reflect, and Tier 3 spells.
Seifer - Strategy
Draw and cast Haste on everyone, then Summon Carbuncle. Seifer will damage himself and waste his time by casting his fire spell. Quickly defeat Seifer to carry over Haste to the battle with Edea.
Edea - Strategy
Edea will use Reflect on herself then dispel on your team one by one so ready your own dispel to remove her reflect. Make sure to draw Alexander from Edea before the battle is over. Maelstrom will inflict Curse on everyone so draw and cast Esuna on your party. Keep Casting Carbuncle and dispelling her Reflect while keeping Squall's HP low to continuously use Renzokuken.
