Druid Leveling Build Pros and Cons |
---|
Clears Large Groups of Enemies Quickly Great for Early Game Speedfarming and Vaults Does Poorly Against Single Targets Relies on Lucky Hit Procs to Reset Cooldowns DPS Aspects are both Non-Codex Aspects
|
The Druid Leveling build is made to clear large groups of enemies quickly thanks to the Subterranean Aspect which casts Landslide around you whenever Poison Creeper is activated.
As you progress through the season, this effect becomes even more devastating once you're able to pair it with the Aspect of the Aftershock which makes Landslide cast a second time after the first.

Druid Leveling Spirit Boons | |
---|---|
Advantageous Beast (Deer) |
Reduce the Duration of Control Impairing Effects by 15% |
Avian Wrath (Eagle) |
Gain 30% Critical Strike Damage |
Scythe Talons (Eagle) |
Gain +5% Increased Critical Strike Chance |
Packleader (Wolf) |
Lucky Hit: Critical Strikes have up to a 20% Chance to Reset the Cooldowns of Your Companion Skills |
Obsidian Slam (Snake) |
Every 20th Kill will cause Your Next Earth Skill to Overpower |
Setup is available if you've bonded with the Eagle Spirit.
Most of the Spirit Boons chosen are to increase the damage output of Landslide, especially when cast from Poison Creeper. This is crucial since critical strike chance and critical damage are the main damage boosts for Landslide. The Packleader boon also synergizes well with this since Critical Strikes give more chances to reset Poison Creeper's cooldown, allowing you to use it multiple times in a row.

Best Aspects | Stats and Affixes | Gems |
The most important aspects that players should prioritize are the Subterranean Aspect and Aspect of the Aftershock. The easiest way to get them in Season 3 is to reach level 26 and farm Heralds of Malphas for their guaranteed Legendary drops.
Aspect | Effect and How to Get |
---|---|
Aspect of Cyclonic Force
(Defensive) |
How to Get: Collapsed Vault (Dungeon Clear)
Cyclonic Armor also provides Physical Damage Reduction. In addition, Cyclone Armor will also be applied to all Nearby Allies. |
Aspect of Mending Stone
(Defensive) |
How to Get: Sealed Archives (Dungeon Clear)
The duration of Earthern Bulwark is increased by 6 seconds. In addition, killing an enemy with Earth Skills replenishes (XX) of your active Earthen Bulwark's Barrier. |
Aspect of The Aftershock
(Offensive) |
Landslide's earth pillars each strike a second time and deal an additional (6-12)% bonus damage per hit. |
Aspect of the Umbral
(Resource) |
How to Get: Champion's Demise (Dungeon Clear)
Restore (XX) of your Primary Resource when you Crowd Control an enemy. |
Ballistic Aspect
(Utility) |
How to Get: Whispering Pines (Dungeon Clear)
When you have Fortify your Earth Skills gain +2 Ranks. |
Crashstone Aspect
(Offensive) |
How to Get: Scosglen (Story Campaign)
Earth Skills deal (40-50)% more Critical Strike Damage to Crowd Controlled enemies. |
Subterranean Aspect
(Offensive) |
Poison Creeper's active also casts Landslide in a circle around you. Earth Skills deal (10-20)% increased damage to Poisoned enemies. |

3 | ・Cooldown Reduction +%

It is good to prioritize looking for items that increase your Critical Strike Chance since Landslide scales well with Critical Damage. Not only that, but Critical Strikes also gives you more chances to reset the cooldown of Poison Creeper.
Willpower is also a good stat to increase since it is Druid's main stat that all of your skills base its damage on. Because of this, it is recommended that your weapon and offhand have Willpower since these items grant the most compared to other items.
Other stats and affixes that would be good are ones that increase Landslide's damage or frequency. The different Damage multipliers against crowd controlled enemies are particularly great since this build crowd controls enemies frequently.

Best Aspects | Stats and Affixes | Gems |
Gem Type | Effect Explanation |
---|---|
Sapphire
(Weapon) |
+9.0% Critical Strike Damage to Crowd Controlled Enemies
Provides additional damage since you'll be Crowd Controlling enemies using Poison Creeper. |
Ruby
(Armor) |
3.0% Maximum Life
Increases your maximum Life. Since Druids aren't as slippery as other classes, you'll want all the HP you can get to avoid getting one-shot in close quarters. |
Diamond
(Jewelry) |
3.0% Resistance to All Elements
Very helpful since a lot of the traps inside the Season 3 Vault Dungeons do elemental damage. |
Druid Leveling Build Tips |
---|
|
1 | Dash to the Middle of a Large Group of Enemies |
---|---|
2 | Use Poison Creeper to Clear Them Out |
3 | Kill the Remaining Enemies with Earth Spike and Landslide |
1 | Activate Earthen Bulwark to Absorb Incoming Damage |
---|---|
2 | Utilize Petrify on the Boss to Fill up the Stagger Bar |
3 | Use Cyclone Armor to make the Boss Vulnerable |
4 | Follow Up with Poison Creeper to Deal Damage and Fill up the Stagger Bar |
5 | Deal Continuous Damage with the Earth Spike and Landslide Combo |
6 | Repeat Steps 4-5 until the Boss is Staggered |
Since the Aspect of the Aftershock can only be found from Legendary drops, players can use the Aspect of Retaliation as a substitute as it boosts Landside's damage to a max of 20% based on your Fortify.
This Aspect synergizes well with the Safeguard passive since it grants you Fortify whenever you land a critical strike with Landslide.
It's always important to keep your distance against enemies since the Nature's Reach passive allows you to have a consistent damage boost against distant enemies.
To keep the effect active all the time, try to be mindful of not being in melee range against any enemies, and utilize the long range of your skills.
With Nature's Reach in mind, use Cyclone Armor to push enemies away and slow them so that they can't easily rush back to you.
To add to that, Cyclone Armor combos well with Poison Creeper since it pushes enemies far enough for the Nature's Reach passive to activate, but near enough for Poison Creeper to hit.
Players are recommended to start farming the aspects for this build at around Level 20-30 so that they could have an easier time progressing towards Level 50.
This is because enemies start becoming tankier and deal more damage around this stage, and it will become more difficult to progress without aspects.
