How to Beat Maiev Shadowsong

Baron Rivendare is a good counter to Maiev Shadowsong's ability to stealth her troops. Having the ability to summon skeletons and additional troops with zero Gold costs will help in taking down stealth units.

Clear a Path

While the usual strategy is to take control of Towers, because you are up against stealthed units, your best strategy is to take the fight directly to Maiev Shadowsong. Clearing the middle path is the fastest way to launch your assault.

Use Chain Lightning To Reveal Units

Stealth can only be removed either by encountering an enemy unit upclose for an ambush, or a direct hit from any spell cast. Casting Spells will make stealthed enemy units visible to your units.
