You can use Sacrificial Jizo items or certain spells to revive fallen party members in Suikoden 2 HD Remaster. Read on to find out more about reviving your fallen comrades and what items and spells you can use!
List of Contents
The most accessible method for reviving a party member that has been knocked out in battle is the Sacrificial Jizo, a consumable item available from treasure chests and item stores.
When a Sacrificial Jizo is equipped on a character, it will automatically revive them instantly if they take enough damage to be knocked out. Once this happens, the Jizo is consumed and a new one will need to be equipped.
Because a Sacrificial Jizo is a single-use item only, you can equip more than one Sacrificial Jizo on a character to get multiple uses.
However, this is not recommended as consumable items share slots with accessories, which can raise your stats or other consumables, like food.
Using up valuable slots for an item that only works once if you are knocked out is inefficient.
Spell | Rune |
---|---|
Yell | Resurrection Rune |
Mother Ocean | Flowing Rune |
Storm Fang | Wind+Earth Unite Magic |
Water Dragon | Wind+Water Unite Magic |
Hammer of Thor | Lightning+Water Unite Magic |
Certain Rune Spells can revive characters who are knocked out, bringing them back to the line to continue fighting. Some of these spells use Unite Magic, which requires the use of Level 4 Rune Spells from two different elements.
Unite Magic Guide: How to Cast Combo Spells
If you don't have a revival item or spell ready, you cannot revive a character that has been knocked out.
However, they aren't gone permanently. Knocked-out characters will revive with 1 HP after the end of a battle.
From there you can heal them in a normal way with items, spells, or sleeping at the inn.
Take care when your party members are knocked out! Even if you can revive some of them, if all are knocked out, you will be defeated and will need to redo the battle or return to a previous save.
