On a statement on their website, Konami announced the game's delay, stating, "we have reached the conclusion that despite the very best efforts of our dedicated development staff to release the Remasters in 2023, additional time is needed to ensure the quality performance and gameplay experience our users deserve."
September 15, 2022
Konami announced at Tokyo Game Show 2022 that Suikoden 1 and 2 are getting remakes with better graphics and sound. They'll be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and Nintendo Switch in 2023.
