How to Unlock Humphrey and Futch Quest
Complete Story Events in Rockaxe Castle
To recruit Humphrey and Futch, you must first complete the events in Rockaxe Castle. Afterward, travel to Highway Village, located southeast of Rockaxe Castle, and complete their side quest to have them officially join your party.

Highway Village
| 1 |  From Rockaxe Town, travel southeast to reach Highway Village. |

| 2 |  Enter the Inn, where a cutscene will trigger. Afterward, speak with Humphrey, who is standing near the staircase. Another cutscene will play, after which Humphrey will pay for your stay at the Inn for the night. ▶︎ Highway Village Guide |
| 3 |  The next morning, exit the Inn to watch a cutscene of Kent leaving Highway Village. Head back inside and speak with Humphrey again, then talk to the front desk to rest for another night. |
| 4 |  The following morning, head downstairs to find out that Kent has gone missing. When prompted, make sure to accept Humphrey’s request to search for him. Humphrey and Futch will then join your party afterward. Note that refusing to help to look for Kent will permanently lock you out of recruiting both Humphrey and Futch. |
Rakutei Mountain
| 1 |  From Highway Village, head north to reach Rakutei Mountain. |

| 2 |  Upon entering, a cutscene will play. Continue forward until you reach a three-way split. Take the left path to find a chest containing a Fur Cape and the right path to obtain a Thunder Rune. Be ready to fight enemies along the way! ▶︎ Rakutei Mountain Dungeon Guide |
| 3 |  Take the middle path to proceed to the next area, where you'll encounter another fork. Take the right path to get a Lightning Amulet from a chest, then return to the fork and take the left path to continue. |
| 4 |  In the next area, follow the right path to proceed forward. If you take the left path here, you'll find a chest containing a Stone of Power. |
| 5 |  The next area is larger than usual. Head east to find a chest containing Unicorn Plans #2. Then, take the path just above your current location to enter a smaller area where you can obtain a Skill Ring from a chest. |
| 6 |  Return to the large area and make your way northwest to find a chest with Dragon Plans #2. Just southeast of this spot, you'll find another chest containing 2,000 Potch. ▶︎ Money Farming Guide |
| 7 |  Still in the same area, head northeast to collect a Medicine Orb from a chest. Then, take the path directly below to continue. |
| 8 |  Keep heading north, and you'll find a Journeyman Orb on the left. Be sure to save your game before proceeding. Also prepare for an upcoming boss battle by making sure your party is fully healed and properly equipped. ▶︎ How to Save Progress |
| 9 |  When you're ready, move forward to trigger a cutscene, which will lead to a battle against the Harpy. The boss has no weakness, so focus on unleashing your strongest attacks while maintaining your party's health with heals. ▶︎ Harpy Boss Guide |
| 10 |  After defeating the Harpy, another cutscene will play. Go forward and interact with the Dragon Egg. Once the next cutscene is over, you'll find yourself back in Highway Village, where Futch and Humphrey will officially join your party! |
