Suikoden 2 - Does the Castle Have A Canon Name?

The castle has no canon name in Suikoden 2 HD Remaster, but is widely known as Dunan by the community. Read on to know what the canon name for the castle is and if you can change the castle's name later on in the game!

While there is no official name for the castle, the community widely refers to it as Dunan Castle, named after Dunan Lake and the Dunan Region.

After defeating Neclord during Chapter 4, you reclaim it as your headquarters.

The castle was originally known as North Window, which was Viktor's hometown before the Vampire Lord Neclord attacked, massacring the citizens and turning it into a ghost town.

After Neclord's defeat, the stronghold is reclaimed and serves as your base of operations.

After defeating Solon Jhee in an Army Battle, you will be prompted to name your castle. However, once you choose a name, it cannot be changed for the rest of the game.
