Suikoden 2 - How to Change Equipment and Armor

Equipment can be changed through the equipment section of the menu in Suikoden 2 HD Remaster. Find out how to change equipment and armor, as well as different party members that cannot be equipped with armor here!

How to Change Equipment and Armor

Step-By-Step Guide

  1. Open the Main Menu and press Equipment.
  2. Select the character you wish to change equipment on.
  3. Choose which part you wish to change.
  4. Swap out the currently equipped equipment with the onne you want.

You can change your equipment by accessing the Equipment option in the main menu. Here, you'll be able to change the equipment of any character in your party.

Different Types of Armor

Armor List

There are different kinds of armor for different parts of each character. Characters will require different armor for their Head, Body and Shield however some characters might not be able to carry a Shield.

Learn each needed equipment for the characters in your party and make sure to equip them with these armor to boost their defensive stats in battle!

Clicking Optimize Will Equip Your Best Equipment

Optimize

Selecting the Optimize option will optimize your armor for your character and choose the best equipment for them.

Gender-Exclusive Armor

Different Armor Types
There are some pieces of armor that are exclusive to Men and Women. DIfferent armor pieces will specify if they are only equipable to men or women so make sure to read carefully before equipping!
