Bronze Statue Guide: How to Build and Where to Find It

Suikoden 2 - Bronze Statue Guide

The Bronze Statue honors your most powerful Suikoden 2 HD Remaster party member. Read on to find out more about the Bronze Statue, its location, how to build it, and what it does!

What Does The Bronze Statue Do?

Bronze Statue Honors the Character with the Most Kills

The Bronze Statue is a special statue built that shows the character that has defeated the most enemies.

The statue can change depending on which is in the lead in terms of kill counts. For example, if the Bronze Statue might honor the Hero, but it can change to someone else if they gain a higher kill count, like Viktor or Nanami.

The Bronze Statue only Counts Weapon Attacks

The Bronze Statue only counts kills made with normal weapon attacks in its measurement. Kills made using Unite Attacks, Rune Spells, and other special moves do not count.

Characters with low physical damage like Luc or Tuta are thus disadvantaged in terms of becoming the kill leader in Suikoden 2.

How to Make Your Favorite Character the Bronze Statue Subject

Always Bring Them in the Party

It's very easy for the Hero to be the subject of the Bronze Statue, because he is present in almost every battle and has strong physical attacks, making it easy for him to deal the final blow on most enemies.

If you want a different character to be up there on the pedestal, make sure to bring them in the party as often as possible, so they can get kills alongside the Hero.

Best Party and Team Composition

Use Defend or Rune Spells for Other Allies

Make sure that your favorite character is doing more physical attacks than the others. Use Rune Abilities, Rune Spells and Unite Attacks to have your other party members deal damage, so that your favorite can get kills with normal strikes.

You can also reduce the amount of attacks the Hero can get by equipping Magic Runes on him and turning him into a caster-type character. Magic attacks are not counted for the Bronze Statue kill measurement.

List of All Unite Attacks

Equip the Double-Jab Rune and Strong Physical Runes

To ensure that your favorite character can score weapon kills easily, give them powerful physical runes like the Double-Jab Rune, Fury Rune, and Killer Rune. Alongisde sharpening your weapons to the maximum level, these will ensure your favorite character can do the most physical damage possible.
