This is a Season 1 Cold Shadow Rapid Fire endgame build for Rogue in Diablo 4 (D4) that utilizes Shadow Imbuement paired with The Barber to burst down enemies with a single skill rotation using Rapid Fire. The Cold Shadow Rapid Fire build capitalizes on high burst and critical damage from Tempting Fate, Shadow Imbuement, and The Barber's explosion effect to clear large groups of enemies from a safe distance. Additionally, you should equip the Revenge Malignant Heart and a Ruby gem on your armors for additional survivability with damage suppression and increased max health.

This build also uses the Cold Imbuement to apply Chill and to instantly freeze tougher Elite enemies with a single skill rotation for more flexibility.

The Barber	Type: Wrathful Critical Strikes and all subsequent damage within 2.0-4.0 seconds is absorbed by your target. Then, the absorbed damage erupts onto surrounding enemies. Stored damage is increased by 10% per second.
Revenge	Type: Brutal 10-20% of incoming damage is instead suppressed. When you use a Defensive, Subterfuge or a Macabre skill, all suppressed damage is amplified by 250% and explodes, dealing up to 1360-2040 Fire damage to Nearby enemies.
Tempting Fate	Type: Vicious You gain 40-60% Critical Strike Damage but your Non-Critical Strikes deal 20-15% less damage.

Generally, it is difficult to clear enemies with Rapid Fire. However, The Barber's explosion effect has made Rapid Fire one of the best Core Skill available for Rogues due to its high burst damage. You can also pair it with Tempting Fate to further increase the damage of your Critical Strikes and use it with Revenge for additional survivability. Since you will be applying Vulnerable to all enemies you hit with the Exploit Glyph, it is best to use Emerald in your weapon gem slot for additional damage.

The explosion from The Barber and your Shadow Imbuement is extremely powerful. It is strong enough to burst down groups of enemies with a single skill rotation. If you do not have enough damage, you can cast your Rapid Fire twice to stack more damage.

Boss Opener

If you run out of energy before you can burst down the boss, you can use your Concealment to replenish it with Enhanced Concealment passive.

Freeze Elites with Cold Imbuement

Your Rapid Fire with Cold Imbuement is guaranteed to freeze any Elite enemies that you shoot. Use this to your advantage when dealing with tougher Elites to buy more time.

Use Concealment Aggressively and Defensively

Concealment acts as your panic button if you cannot burst enemies fast enough. However, you can also use it aggressively to get close to enemies or to replenish your energy if you run out during a fight.
