Barriers Are Key

The combination of Temerity's Barriers and the Conceited Aspect allow the Poison Flurry Rogue to stand in between groups of enemies to deal large amounts of damage while staying relatively safe.

Access to multiple forms of healing via Siphoning Strikes, Enhanced Flurry, and the Lucky Hit chances to heal from Temerity and Doombringer make overhealing extremely easy. This, in turn, makes proccing Barriers with Temerity reliable and consistent.

Unlimited Chill

Penitent Greaves consistently applies Chill to nearby enemies, which triggers any bonus effects we have against Crowd Controlled enemies. Among these effects are the Passive Skill Frigid Finesse and Disciplined Dash.

Resource Engine

The Starlight Aspect is included in the build to help maintain resource. Since our build is constantly healing and taking damage, Starlight Aspect procs and helps to upkeep our Resource.

This works well with the Edgemaster's Aspect since our Rogue will always be topped up in terms of resource, further boosting our damage.

Specializations - Combo Points

Combo Points is our chosen Specialization for this build since we want to apply Vulnerable with Puncture before using Flurry for maximum damage.

This entails that while applying Vulnerable, we can simultaneously build the Combo Points meter.

Tricks of the Trade

The Tricks of the Trade Board was selected since it synergizes well with our Marksman Basic Skill and Cutthroat Core Skill combination. Essentially, it allows each use of either skill to strengthen the other.

Cheap Shot and Exploit Weakness

The Cheap Shot and Exploit Weakness Paragon Boards function as damage multipliers against enemies who are CC'd or Vulnerable. Since our build constantly applies both to nearby enemies, these Paragon Boards serve as great boosts to our damage.

No Witnesses

The No Witnesses Paragon Board is included in the build for access to the Ruin and Knowledge Rare nodes. These nodes offer significant damage and critical strike damage boosts.

Eldritch Bounty

The Eldritch Bounty Paragon Board is present for access to its Legendary Node. This Legendary Node allows us to deal with increased Poison Damage with our Imbued skills. Furthermore, it reduces the Poison damage we take, which can help in popular dungeons like the Blind Burrows.

Cunning Stratagem

The Cunning Stratagem Board is only present to serve as another gateway node.

Gateway nodes offer their stat bonuses as long as another Paragon Board is attached. Including a Paragon board this way increases our total stats which also makes the secondary effects of our other Paragon Nodes more accessible.

Poison Flurry Playstyle

Poison Flurry Build Tips

Recommended Openers and Rotations

Trash Mob Opener and Skill Rotation

1 Apply Poison Imbuement
2 Dash into a pack of enemies.
3 Drop a Poison Trap
4 Apply Vulnerable with Puncture.
5 Spam Flurry.

Boss Opener

1 Apply Poison Imbuement before entering the Boss Arena.
2 Shadow Step to the Boss
3 Drop a Poison Trap
4 Spam Flurry
5 Dash away from hazards and repeat from Step 1.

Proper Imbuement Use

Poison Imbuements, and Imbuements in general, should be applied before a fight starts. This way, you will have access to 4 total imbuements during your skirmishes since you have your current imbuement buff ongoing, and you have the Poison Imbuement skill off cooldown and ready for re-application.

Spam Potions

The build itself is already quite survivable on its own. But if things start to get a little dicey, don't be afraid to pop a couple of Potions.

There's no real need to save Potions, especially since Temerity increases the healing we receive, the amount we can hold, and how often they can drop!

Furthermore, try to drink a Potion before the fight even starts to preemptively give yourself a Barrier.

Watch Your Skill Bar

Keep an eye out on your skill bar for when Poison Imbuement starts to glow or pulse with a yellow highlight. This means that you've triggered the Aspect of Bursting Venoms and can use Poison Imbued skills an unlimited amount of times for a few seconds.

In this case, try to use as many Flurries as you can to maximize the amount of Poison Damage you're doing to enemies.
