More than a year after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, the game has finally been revived from the backlash it has received since its launch. Read on to learn more about Cyberpunk 2077's most controversial glitches, its latest bugs, and their fixes.
With the release of Patches 1.5 and 1.6, you'll be pleased to know that there are no longer game breaking bugs for Cyberpunk 2077. Although like most games, it's not entirely devoid of mistakes, so keep an eye out for minor bugs.

A bug has occurred for some players which prevents them from proceeding past the “Talk to Viktor” Objective. When talked to, players find themselves only able to ask “How's Biz?”.
Although we were not able to confirm this bug ourselves, players have reported being able to resolve the issue by saving and reloading the game. Be sure to try this first when you encounter this problem!
The Ripperdoc Quest Walkthrough
In the escape section of The Heist, the Leader of the Arasaka Guards will normally emerge from an elevator and attack the player. However, this bug will cause him to instead clip crazily through the walls and put up no resistance against the player.
Although this may seem advantageous, it may actually cause the defeated Leader to fall through the floor, making it impossible to receive his Access Chip and forcing the player to revert to a previous save.
Even in the following elevator scene with Jackie, the slain Leader's corpse may continue to occasionally fall through the ceiling into the floor.
One of the most common bugs in Cyberpunk 2077 is characters' mouths not moving. During in-game dialouge or even cutscenes, you are likely to see at least one character who is talking without moving their face. In the beginning of the game, this can often be seen with Jackie, since he is frequently speaking with V.
You may come across some NPCs that are locked in a T-pose. They will still be able to interact with you, but getting them to stop posing can be quite difficult.
During your playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077, you may notice many strange occurances with in-game textures. During our playthrough, some examples included V's knuckles being see-through, NPC models freezing, and characters appearing out of nowhere.
During some scenes in Cyberpunk 2077, you may have noticed weird moments when some characters have their gun clipped to some parts of their body. This ruins the immersion and emotional weight of some scenes.
As of patch 1.6, there are still cases of the Gun Clipping glitch although it shows up very rarely.
Perhaps one of the funniest glitches in the game, the Flying Car glitch was notorious specially during Cyberpunk 2077's launch. This includes the player's car, whether they're inside or not.
If you have played Cyberpunk 2077 during launch, you may have noticed cars driving through barriers, and only going in circles when in roundabouts. So watch out whenever you're walking on the pavements.

A number of players have encountered bug during The Beast in Me: Badlands side quest. It's where the player finishes first but the game recognizes Luigi Antonowicz as the winner of the race.
As of patch 1.6, this bug still happens often and there is no fix out yet. But you can avoid this bug by ignoring Luigi, doing so makes the game recognize V and Claire as the winners of the race.
Some players in PC may have noticed map glitches in their game. This is caused by NVIDIA's latest game ready driver update 522.25 last October 12, 2022.
Check out NVIDIA's Fix for this problem if you do not wish to roll back your driver.
If NVIDIA's fix is too complicated for you, you can try rolling back your driver by going to Device Manager > Display Adapters > Double click on your GPU > Drivers > Roll Back Driver.
After The Heist mission, you will awake as Johnny Silverhand. While playing as him, you will make your way to a helicopter and fly towards a tower. Your objective will be to take out the enemies on the roof, but the combat turrents will be invincible. If you experience this bug, you will be unable to move forward with the main story line.
You will also appear to not take any damage, making you stuck in the helicopter. It will continue to circle the roof until you take out all enemies, which is impossible. The bullet fire will appear to pass through the enemy turrets.
Based on our investigations after upgrading to Patch 1.05, this bug has been resolved!
Love Like Fire Quest Walkthrough
During Down on the Street, Takemura calls you but doesn't say anything. This could possibly hinder the player's progress in the main story as V is required to respond to Takemura's call.

Down on the Street Walkthrough and Rewards
At the end of the The Pickup, when you exit the building, you'll find that corpos surrounding the building. If Jackie is not outside with you and remains in the building, one of the corpos will block your way from accessing him, rendering the Talk to Jackie objective undoable.
A possible way to circumvent this is by not rushing out to talk to whoever is outside, waiting for Jackie to follow you. If he's in the doorway and is stuck there, it's possible to talk to him at a certain angle.
Based on our investigations after upgrading to Patch 1.05, this bug has been resolved!

Skipping scenes can cause character to freeze with the inability to move unless you reload a save.
Bug where you craft an Epic Grenade, if disassembling more then 30 of the item does not disappear and the crafting experience is still gained, though materials are not. Relog did not fix bug, solution was to sell item to vendor and then be sure to watch when disassembling in bulk.
Stuck on pyramid song mission : when entering the church, Judy teleport under the floor and get stuck. Impossible to talk to her to continue the mission
You will have to restart the game. If you just load a save it will continue to keep the doors locked.
Don't lose your head.. Came out to find that my car is trapped in a circle of the others, door won't open without being in the car that I cant get in...
During the mission; Heist after you fall, Jackie went completely invisible, couldn't see him but could hear and see what he touches/opens... totally caught us off guard and got a few laughs from us. But wanted to post and see if either anyone else got it or so it might be fixed in the next update for newer players.

Same here. I’ve done all the main story missions in act 2 and have nothing else showing. No main missions at all; I even double checked my mission log in comparison to a list of all story missions. 45 hours in and can’t finish the game; Xbox one. Please update if figure out a work around
Upon jacking into any terminal in the game it appears there's a chance that the hacking minigame will not appear or appear incorrectly thus stopping any progress with the terminal. Save quitting and relaunching the game doesn't fix the issue. This is game-breaking as there are terminals that need to be hacked in order to proceed with a number of quests. Personally, this issue has stopped all progress with the Killing In The Name quest.
The bug I found occurs during The Heist while trying to evade & destroy the flying drones. V. says she "got this" & leans out the window. However, even though it shows she has a weapon with ammo (bottom right) "equipped" when she puts her hands out the window, her hands are empty. I have tried everything from recycling through her weapons to restarting the mission with no success.
Exact same issue here update if you can fix it ill do the same
I don’t have any main jobs, I have side jobs, gigs and everything else except main story missions( I was 75%done with respect and 25% with fucking entropy) am I missing something?

In with a little help from my friends when I have to talk to Panama and the nomads to discuss the plan after driving to the train, they do not talk or interact with me, the mission does not advance
I went to do Suspected Organized Crime Activity in Little China and I killed everyone there (made sure and triple-checked), looted everything and the objective won't complete. I reloaded my save, did everything again and still the same. I even fast forwarded the time, went to sleep, hoping it would reset. Nothing. Any ideas on how to fix this?
I have a bugged ncpd mission. I picked up all the evidence and killed all the criminals but it is still not registering it.
Enemies become resistant to all melee it's like attacking an invisible wall.

My punches deal 0 damage whatsoever. Been using weapons the whole time but I can't progress the mission to beat an animal in a fist fight
Shoot to thrill quest does not progress - the shooter with the machine gun does not draw his weapon, is not spoken to about the rules, and no targets appear to shoot at.
One of Rogue’s gig is bugged for me. (GIG: HOT MERCHANDISE), I did do the quest but it says that I didn’t cause whenever I leave rogue would message me saying I needed to finish the job. The body that needed to be put in the vechicle was done but the driver didn’t drive away. I wasn’t able to find a solution so I left it and later back in the game, I find it the exact same way that I left but instead of the driver in the driver seat there was no one and I was able to hijack it.

Can’t complete the beast in me quest, after talking to Claire she won’t call back after a day and no races are added to my quest journal so I have no idea where to go or what to do
I can't progress in the Cyberpsychos sighting on deaf Ears misison, the cyberpsychos just dont appear in the location (parking lot)

Cant talk to the ripper doc in wattson becuase the door is stuck closed. I went in there before mo problem but I started to walk in one time earlier in the game(now pretty late in my playthrough) and it closed as I was walking in and clipped me outside. I haven't been able to get in since.
I cant quick hack anymore
After watching the XBD in Judy's truck I have a visual bug that kind of looks like the BD editor so I can't properly see infront of me and can't find anything to resolve it.
some mobs don't die when I shoot them there is some kind of crucifixion glitch and they stand at 0hp shooting at me ... but if i shoot them with a trank dart they go down of course after they kill me and load the game(same mobs) ... too much dmg ??
My weapons sway out of my screen after about 2 seconds of aiming down sights. It makes fighting enemies that are further away than 2 meters impossible. I tried restarting, loading up an older savefile and restarting my pc but the bug is still there.
