More than a year after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, the game has finally been revived from the backlash it has received since its launch. Read on to learn more about Cyberpunk 2077's most controversial glitches, its latest bugs, and their fixes.
With the release of Patches 1.5 and 1.6, you'll be pleased to know that there are no longer game breaking bugs for Cyberpunk 2077. Although like most games, it's not entirely devoid of mistakes, so keep an eye out for minor bugs.

A bug has occurred for some players which prevents them from proceeding past the “Talk to Viktor” Objective. When talked to, players find themselves only able to ask “How's Biz?”.
Although we were not able to confirm this bug ourselves, players have reported being able to resolve the issue by saving and reloading the game. Be sure to try this first when you encounter this problem!
The Ripperdoc Quest Walkthrough
In the escape section of The Heist, the Leader of the Arasaka Guards will normally emerge from an elevator and attack the player. However, this bug will cause him to instead clip crazily through the walls and put up no resistance against the player.
Although this may seem advantageous, it may actually cause the defeated Leader to fall through the floor, making it impossible to receive his Access Chip and forcing the player to revert to a previous save.
Even in the following elevator scene with Jackie, the slain Leader's corpse may continue to occasionally fall through the ceiling into the floor.
One of the most common bugs in Cyberpunk 2077 is characters' mouths not moving. During in-game dialouge or even cutscenes, you are likely to see at least one character who is talking without moving their face. In the beginning of the game, this can often be seen with Jackie, since he is frequently speaking with V.
You may come across some NPCs that are locked in a T-pose. They will still be able to interact with you, but getting them to stop posing can be quite difficult.
During your playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077, you may notice many strange occurances with in-game textures. During our playthrough, some examples included V's knuckles being see-through, NPC models freezing, and characters appearing out of nowhere.
During some scenes in Cyberpunk 2077, you may have noticed weird moments when some characters have their gun clipped to some parts of their body. This ruins the immersion and emotional weight of some scenes.
As of patch 1.6, there are still cases of the Gun Clipping glitch although it shows up very rarely.
Perhaps one of the funniest glitches in the game, the Flying Car glitch was notorious specially during Cyberpunk 2077's launch. This includes the player's car, whether they're inside or not.
If you have played Cyberpunk 2077 during launch, you may have noticed cars driving through barriers, and only going in circles when in roundabouts. So watch out whenever you're walking on the pavements.

A number of players have encountered bug during The Beast in Me: Badlands side quest. It's where the player finishes first but the game recognizes Luigi Antonowicz as the winner of the race.
As of patch 1.6, this bug still happens often and there is no fix out yet. But you can avoid this bug by ignoring Luigi, doing so makes the game recognize V and Claire as the winners of the race.
Some players in PC may have noticed map glitches in their game. This is caused by NVIDIA's latest game ready driver update 522.25 last October 12, 2022.
Check out NVIDIA's Fix for this problem if you do not wish to roll back your driver.
If NVIDIA's fix is too complicated for you, you can try rolling back your driver by going to Device Manager > Display Adapters > Double click on your GPU > Drivers > Roll Back Driver.
After The Heist mission, you will awake as Johnny Silverhand. While playing as him, you will make your way to a helicopter and fly towards a tower. Your objective will be to take out the enemies on the roof, but the combat turrents will be invincible. If you experience this bug, you will be unable to move forward with the main story line.
You will also appear to not take any damage, making you stuck in the helicopter. It will continue to circle the roof until you take out all enemies, which is impossible. The bullet fire will appear to pass through the enemy turrets.
Based on our investigations after upgrading to Patch 1.05, this bug has been resolved!
Love Like Fire Quest Walkthrough
During Down on the Street, Takemura calls you but doesn't say anything. This could possibly hinder the player's progress in the main story as V is required to respond to Takemura's call.

Down on the Street Walkthrough and Rewards
At the end of the The Pickup, when you exit the building, you'll find that corpos surrounding the building. If Jackie is not outside with you and remains in the building, one of the corpos will block your way from accessing him, rendering the Talk to Jackie objective undoable.
A possible way to circumvent this is by not rushing out to talk to whoever is outside, waiting for Jackie to follow you. If he's in the doorway and is stuck there, it's possible to talk to him at a certain angle.
Based on our investigations after upgrading to Patch 1.05, this bug has been resolved!

Same, installed the update after a crash and as usual my options had defaulted. After changing them to my preferred setup I could not exit the options screen.
Ps4 1.05 Belly of the Beast doors won't open to go find the netrunners nest.
After installing 1.05 update (Xbox One) cannot draw weapons, can't grab enemies from behind, NPCs also dont react to this besides some dialogue. Currently in the Riders on the Storm Panam mission Quit the game, and restarted console. Will update if this fixed thre issue.
Stuck at the options menu
Op here, this is for when you’re supposed to talk to the cops at the beginning. Just wanted to clarify.
For the happy together quest, there are no cops anywhere near V’s apartment nor the apartment the quest is supposed to be at.
Last gate will not open and boss does not spawn in belly of the beast. Got stuck in options menu. Dakota will not call me back in minefield gig
In Epistrophy: Rancho Coronado, I’m doing a particular mission. The goal of the objective is to destroy 8 flamingos and the problem is, the flamingos are showing up on the map but not on the screen. I’ve had to load to the last checkpoint and they still don’t show up. I also had to restart to the beginning of the game just to hope that the flamingos would show up on the screen and it still hasn’t worked. Anyone know how to fix this?
Hey PS4, randomly getting stuck in 1st person while driving and button doesn’t work to change view. Very sporadic
After supposed bug patch... stuck in options when I went to change sensitivity. I am on PS5. Awesome.
in the side mission violence, the bartender that you're supposed to speak to is outside. When you speak to him you end up back at the bar and speak to nobody, but the dialogue continues. I tried this a zillion times and I couldn't find the guy in the VIP lounge. Then I had the camera on and was watching the VIP lounge while Googling stuff and it seems that the dialogue was happening but I couldn't hear it or see it. If I just watched the VIP lounge for a little bit, the story moves forward.
Once I completed the Paid in Full mission, my female V magically changed to a male voice.
I can't start the second Brendan mission. Supposedly there's meant to be a woman spawned and talking next to the machine, but she's never there and the quest marker is still on the map.
On ghost town I can't get in the dang bar to pay chick to continue the service... There's no one at the door to let me in and the doors are locked!! I don't wanna start the game over again I have some epic gear! If you out em in your stash at your apartment does that save them for a new game??
I also have this glitch. I’ve played whatever mission and killed everyone through window on door. Now I can’t get in. Xbox series x
Mission: Ghost Town After exiting Panam's car in Rocky Ridge, I am supposed to scan 3 devices (powered or unpowered), but none of my scans are counting and I'm stuck at 0/3. I'm just following the other story threads until this gets fixed i guess...
Robots that die and only have a common (white) crafting material are impossible to pick up, during the beat the brat final fight with razor... if u punch him off the stage, he will be glitches into the "come and fight me" motions and won't fight back, sometimes ammo thats crafted won't show up in inventory but ill still lose crafting material, during the final mission of the game, v will have rubber like appendages sticking out of arms and legs during scenes where they are visible
Some areas like shopping centers or during phone calls or dialog, it suspends ur ability to use dbl jump
To fix that, quicksave, and load that save.
Keep getting a bug that makes shadows massive and swallow everything with no fix.
Epistrophy questline still will not let me scan the rouge delamain cabs on ps4 pro. Not being able to scan with the scanner delamain provided you means you cannot talk to the ai.
During missions with Panam she tends to run in the air quite a bit.
Hair doesn't load in when looking in mirrors if you have on any headwear, I'm always bald in my shadows too. Despite picking the large setting for breasts whenever I put clothes on they revert to the standard size. V's underwear won't come off in public or during sex scenes. I've noticed a lot of flashing lights hovering around NPCs as well as random lines of light on the ground, and occasionally a cigarette will just hang in the air if an npc is smoking
A fix that worked for me was to quick save and reload.
In riders of the storm I should be seeing through a drone but it looks like I am stuck at the back of the facility as V. I do not see the drone view and therefore cannot progress in the mission
After Queen of the Highway, when I leave the tank I can no longer scan anything, when I click L1 (PS4) it just highlights some of the scannable things for a couple of seconds but I cant actually scan anything or use any quickhacks anymore.. I'm also stuck with the tanks cursor as my aiming cursor
Having trouble with epistrophy missions. I have found like 3 of them no trouble then found the cab in the junkyard and north oak but neither of them will not speak to me no matter what I do.. frustrating.

The flamingos you need to destroy for the last Delamain car don’t appear so you can’t destroy them!
