Patch Notes: Power League Update

New Character - Stu!

Power League

Power League is now out, and it will replace the current competitive mode - Power Play. Power League is a more competitive game mode in the game, which will have a set of rules that is a bit similar to professional Brawl Stars competition.

Power League Bug Fixes - March 17, 2021NEW

In-game Notes:

• Fixed resolution issues on certain Android devices
• Fixed an issue where the team captain's Ban input was getting cleared when another team member inputted their Brawler pre-pick.
• Fixed an issue where Ban timer was not being displayed during the Ban phase.
• Fixed a crash during Pick phase and Final Preparation phase when attempting to view Gadgets.
• Fixed a crash that happened when exiting Power League matchmaking when a match was about to begin.
• Fixed an issue where a player gets demoted after winning a match.
• Fixed an issue where the last player to pick was unable to input their pick.
• Fixed an issue where Quest progress was tracked incorrectly in the game while playing Power League.
• Fixed an issue where XP progress was not awarded correctly while playing Power League.

Balance Changes

Barley - Star Power Buff

Extra Noxious	Extra Noxious extra damage increased from 140 to 200.

Old Gadget
Honey Coat	Bea escapes a certain defeat with 1 health, and gains momentary shield once per match. Charges per match: 3
New Gadget
Honeycomb	Bea receives 20% shield while Big Sting is supercharged. Charges per match: 3

Bo - Damage Buff

Bo	Main Attack damage increased from 520 to 560.

Brock	Main Attack damage increased from 1040 to 1120.

Carl - Gadget Rework and Star Power Buff

Gadget Rework

Old Gadget
Heat Ejector	Carl drops a trail of hot rocks behind his cart! The rocks deal 600 damage per second to enemies who step on them.
Reworked Gadget
Heat Ejector	Carl drops a trail of hot rocks behind his cart! Opponents that touch them are set on fire, and receive a total of 1200 damage over time each.

Star Power Buff

Protective Pirouette	Protective Pirouette damage reducing shield increased from 30% to 35%.

Crow - Star Powers Buff

Extra Toxic

Extra Toxic	Extra Toxic damage debuff against poisoned targets increased from 20% to 25%.

Carrion Crow

Carrion Crow	Carrion Crow extra damage against low health targets increased from 120 to 152.

Gale - Super Skill Buff

Gale	Super Skill damage increased from 100 to 240.

Gene - Health Buff

Gene	Health increased from 3200 to 3600.

Lou - Health, Super Skill, & Star Power Buff

Health Buff & Super Skill Buff

Lou	Health increased from 3100 to 3200. Super Skill now deals 40 damage per second to enemies in the area.

Star Power - Hypothermia Buff

Hypothermia	Hypothermia maximum reload speed debuff increased from 35% to 50%.

Amber - Damage Buff & Nerf

Amber	Normal Attack damage decreased from 2200 to 2000. Super Skill damage increased from 1800 t0 1920.

Edgar	Health decreased from 3000 to 2800.

Jessie	Health decreased from 3200 to 3000.

Tick - Gadget Change & Attack Adjustment

Attack Adjustment

Tick	Normal Attack mines now spread further apart based on the throwing distance.

Gadget Change

Old Gadget
Backup Mine	Tick makes a quick dash, leaving a single mine on the ground. Charges per match: 3
New Gadget
Mine Mania	Tick's next attack fires 6 mines. Charges per match: 3

Map Maker

Other game modes such as Siege and Hot Zone will become available in the Map Maker in future updates! Stay tuned!

Bug Fixes

In-game Notes:

• Fixed an issue where newly applied damage over time effects were overwriting the existing effect (for example Byron's poison removing Crow's poison).
• Fixed an issue with Street Wear Max skins texture.
• Fixed an issue with Auto-fire targeting Brawlers beyond the attack range.
