In addition to these controls, Astro Bot also makes use of motion controls and vibrations in your gameplay. The use of motion controls can be toggled in the options menu.
Astro Bot uses autosaves to record your progress. Autosave cannot be turned off for this game, and there is no way to manually save.
How to Save: Can You Turn Off Autosave?
Dying in Astro Bot resets you to the last checkpoint you've activated. Bots and puzzle pieces you've obtained after a checkpoint remain in your inventory, but coins you've gathered won't be saved.
