Crash Site Guide: All Bots, Puzzle Pieces, and Facilities

The Crash Site is the hub planet of Astro Bot with more areas being unlocked as you progress through the game. Check out all of the Crash Site facilities, information on how to unlock them, as well as all of the Bots and Puzzle Pieces you can find on the Crash Site planet in this guide!

Although 30 Bots are listed as the official number of Bots that can be found at the Crash Site, you can get an additional Bot upon completing the Great Master Challenge here, bumping up your total number of Bots to 301.

If you have save data from Astro's Playroom, you may also be able to find 4 additional Bots here.

You can also obtain VIP Bots in eggs that are not counted towards the total Bot amount. However, they still contribute to your VIP Bot collection.

Gatcha Lab

The Gatcha Lab allows you to get various items for the Crash Site, special items for certain VIP Bots, Dual Speeder colors if you've unlocked the Dual Speeder Garage, and outfits if you've unlocked the Changing Room. These can be obtained at random for 100 coins per spin.

Special items for VIP Bots can only be obtained once you find and rescue the corresponding VIP Bot. The Crash Site items that are available appear to be tied to the amount of puzzle pieces you've collected.

Dual Speeder Garage

The Dual Speeder Garage allows you to change the color of your Dual Speeder spaceship by hitting the bucket of the color you want.

Changing Room

The Changing Room allows you to change outfits by hitting the outfit you want to change into. Outfits and costumes can be obtained from the Gatcha Lab after you've unlocked the Changing Room.

Safari Park

The Safari Park is a facility containing different types of animals in different environments. This contains several photo areas and appears to be an area primarily meant for picture-taking, but it also contains coins and VIP Bot eggs. This is also where you can unlock Photo Mode.

Gold Statue and Great Master Challenge

After collecting all the puzzle pieces available in the game, you will unlock a gold statue on Crash Site. If you've also collected 300 Bots, you can use this statue to reach a small planet above the Crash Site, which houses the Great Master Challenge.

The Great Master Challenge involves intense, fast-paced platforming that leaves little room for error, which makes this a solid contender for the most difficult level in the game.

Other Features

The Crash Site also has a machine with a record of all VIP Bots you've collected so far. This is located near the center of the main area.

The centerpiece of the Crash Site is a PS5-shaped vessel that you repair as you progress through the game.

23	90	Dangling from a tree near the crashed satellite in the southwest snowy area, across the canyon. Two snake enemies will pop out as you approach this Bot.
24	120 (Area Unlock)	Found on top of a pillar in the northwest area. Jump onto the pillar near the ramp then jump to the pillar where the Bot is.
25	120 (Area Unlock)	On the left side of the northwest area, defeat the three electric enemies harassing this Bot before capturing him.
26	120 (Area Unlock)	Standing on a pyramid in the northwest area.
27	120	With the help of you Bots, push the large platform with a ladder until it connects to the higher platform. Climb up the ladder, and defeat the enemies to rescue the four Bots.

1	20	VIP Bot: Fiery Artisan. Found inside a purple egg on top of the cage in the northeast jungle area. The path leading to the top can be found behind the cage.
2	20	VIP Bot: Creative Cursor. In the northeast jungle area, follow the main path to the very end. Summon the Bots, and use them to climb down onto a crevice in the cliffside. This Bot can be found inside a blue egg.
3	50	VIP Bot: Celestial Painter. After raising the platform with 50 Bots in the northeast jungle area, you'll need 20 Bots to make a Bot rope to climb up. There's a pink egg at the top of the structure containing this VIP Bot.
4	50	VIP Bot: Shiba Influencer. In the southeast beach area, this is found in a gray egg inside the hidden area under the breakable cloth floor. You can get here either by using 60 Bots to hold up the shells or by jumping from the higher platform requiring 100 Bots to get to.
5	80	VIP Bot: Robotic Sucker. Turn the spokes of the large wheel in the southeast beach area until it drops a yellow egg containing this Bot.
6	100	VIP Bot: Curious Kitty. In the southeast beach area, pull the blue tube to unleash a fountain that can take you to the ledge above. This Bot can be found in a brown egg.
7	80	VIP Bot: Urban Survivor. From the platform with the puzzle piece, summon Bots to take you to an even higher platform on the other side of the snowy area. This Bot can be found inside a brown egg.
8	100	VIP Bot: Restorative Flora. After pulling the blue tube near the entrance of the southwest snowy area with the help of 100 Bots, summon 90 Bots to form a wall you can run on. This Bot can be found in a pink egg at the top.
9	200	VIP Bot: Leaping Lapin. In the southwest snowy area, lift up the circular ice platforms with the help of your Bots. Use the trampolines to jump onto the top of the ice cake that rises up to find the blue egg.
10	100	VIP Bot: Defender Ship. In the northwest area, pull the blue tube to break the wall, then jump over the platforms to get to the blue egg.
11	150	VIP Bot: Barrel Muncher. Near the pyramids in the northwest area, gather your Bots onto the breakable cloth floor to reach the hidden volcanic room below. Wait for the platforms to rise, so that you can reach the cyan egg.
12	250	VIP Bot: Trusty Steed. In the northwest area, gather 250 Bots to make a pyramid, allowing the platform to rise and reveal a blue egg.
13	N/A	VIP Bot: Pup Pal. Inside Safari Park, you can find this Bot inside an egg near a snowy tree in the icy area.
14	N/A	VIP Bot: Pup Pal +. Inside Safari Park, you can find this Bot inside a gray egg on top of a tree. This is accessible by grabbing onto the rope that the owl is holding.

Stranded Scout, Nightmare Guardian, Pro Driver, and Greedy Ape only appear in your Crash Site if you've played Astro's Playroom and found these hidden Bots there.

These four Bots should appear scattered in the central area of the Crash Site, buried under rocks.

1	2	Found under the rock with a trapped lemur right in front of your spaceship. Make sure to join the two other bots to lift the rock!
2	10	Found under a large boulder to the left of the spaceship, behind Safari Park.
3	10	On top of a stone pillar on the west side of the Crash Site's main area.
4	10	Found on a cliff on the north side of the main area. Once your Bots are summoned, jump onto the Bot rope, and climb up to reach this puzzle piece.
5	10	On top of a rock formation separate from the mainland on the east side of the Crash Site's main area.
6	100	Found on top of a tree branch in the northeast jungle area.
7	40	Flip the large turtle in the southeast beach area.
8	80	In the southwest snowy area, destroy the large block of ice trapping four bots and a pink shark. Use the trampoline to get to the platform with the puzzle piece. This can also be accessed from the ledge requiring 100 Bots to reach, but only if you don't break the large ice block.
9	100	Go up the ramp requiring 120 Bots, then go to the end of the second floor. Summon Bots to stand on the cloth floor requiring 100 Bots. Once the floor breaks, you can get the puzzle piece at the back of this hidden area.

Nine out of the eleven available puzzle pieces on the Crash Site can be found normally in the overworld. The last two only appear upon getting certain items from the Gatcha Lab.

Squawky	Flying around the main area.
Heavy Roller	Obtained by playing bowling behind the Changing Room. You need to hit the bowling ball and knock down all the pins in a strike for the puzzle piece to appear.

Two puzzle pieces that can be found on Crash Site can only be obtained through the Gatcha Lab. Squawky can be obtained early on, but the Heavy Roller may require you to have more puzzle pieces before it can appear as an item in the Gatcha Lab.
