In order to fight Mecha Leon, you will need to rescue 150 Bots to unlock its location in the galaxy. You can find the boss in the Camo Cosmos galaxy.

You can find Mecha Leon at the large stump, the final platform of the stage.

Mecha Leon’s fight spans three stages, with each stage shrinking in size.

Despite this, his attack patterns remain the same across all stages.

Use Time Stop on the Enemy Spawns

When Mecha Leon’s Branch Shake attack rains down projectiles, it also spawns small chameleons that spit flame orbs.

Use Time Stop as soon as the chameleons land to freeze them and quickly eliminate these threats before they attack.

Use Time Stop During Tongue Splat

Mecha Leon’s Tongue Splat leaves his tongue on the ground, exposing his mouth. The moment the tongue hits the floor, activate Time Stop and use the tongue as a path to enter his mouth.

Attack his uvula to stagger him and advance the fight. Repeat this two more times to finish the battle.

Stop Time During Disc Blades

When transitioning between stages, Mecha Leon summons fast-moving disc blades .

Use Time Stop to freeze the blades and turn them into platforms to reach the next stage safely.

Stage 2 Has Breakable Floors

During Stage 2, the floor becomes breakable. Any projectile attack from Mecha Leon that hits the floor will create permanent holes, shrinking your space to maneuver. Watch out for these hazards as you fight.

Land on the Pillar On the Way to Stage 3

After hitting Mecha Leon’s uvula in Stage 2, he will move to the next stage and unleash another Disc Blades attack. Don’t rush to the next stage immediately.

Instead, land on the pillar between Stage 2 and Stage 3 after freezing the first set of blades. Wait for him to repeat the attack, freeze the blades again, and then move to the final stage.

Remain on the Middle During Stage 3

In the final stage, both the left and right sides of the platform are breakable. Stick to the middle to avoid losing space to stand. Wait for Mecha Leon’s Tongue Splat, then attack his uvula one last time.

When he’s stunned, pull his nose ring and release it to complete the fight.

Tongue Splat

How to Counter	Wait for the tongue to land, activate Time Stop, and walk along the tongue to hit the uvula inside the boss’s mouth.

Disc Blades

Availability	After Stage 1
How to Counter	Use Time Stop to freeze the disc blades and jump on them as platforms to reach the next stage.

Homing Missiles

Availability	After Stage 1
How to Counter	Keep moving until the missiles land. Avoid standing near holes in the floor if the stage has breakable areas.
