Puzzle Pieces are the main collectibles in Astro Bot. These can be picked up inside planets and while traversing through galaxies.
Puzzle Pieces were also present in the previous Astro PS5 title, Astro's Playroom.
All Puzzle Pieces Location Guide
VIP Bots are robot companions found throughout the game. Each of them has a unique design that references an iconic character from PlayStation's history. There are over 150 VIP Bots in the game.
Astro can also find special items tied to these VIP bots, and for certain levels, even take the form of these VIP Bots!
There are special items in the game related to VIP Bots and are obtained in the Gatcha Lab. These items change how the special Bots appear in the Crash Site.
Other items that can be obtained through the Gatcha Lab include outfits, Dual Speeder colors, and certain Crash Site items that provide Puzzle Pieces.
There are several Astro outfits and Dual Speeder skins that you can obtain in the game. You can use these to customize the look of Astro and his Dual Speeder vehicle however you like!
In the build up to Astro Bot's release, Team Asobi have added special hidden VIP bots in Astro's Playroom, which is a free tech demo for the PlayStation 5.
These bots can be found once you beat the game, and will be sent over to Astro Bot once the game is out!
