Astro Bot's official website has noted that there will be over 150 VIP Bots to meet in the game.

A definitive list of VIP Bots has not been released, but it can be expected that various characters from games that were closely related to PlayStation's entire history will make an appearance.

In the build up to Astro Bot's release, Team Asobi have added special hidden VIP bots in Astro's Playroom, which is a free tech demo for the PlayStation 5.

These bots can be found once you beat the game, and will be sent over to Astro Bot once the game is out!

VIP Bots are robots with special designs that resemble iconic characters and figures from PlayStation's history. Most VIP Bots hail from a game that can only be played on PlayStation systems.

Obtain Special Items to Get Powers

Astro won't only meet PlayStation characters, but he will also be able to wield their powers and abilities if he obtains an item tied to that character!

In one of the trailers in the game, it was shown that Astro was able to wield Kratos' Leviathan Axe and harness its power!

These special items are obtained in the game's Gatcha Lab.
