Astro Bot is a solo gaming experience and will not be available in multiplayer mode. Find out if Astro Bot is a multiplayer game and know if a multiplayer option will be available in the future!
The developers have confirmed that Astro Bot will not feature multiplayer, as it compromises the game's graphics.
While it was initially planned to include multiplayer, the idea was scrapped to preserve the design integrity of the single-player campaign and non-VR gameplay.
Astro Bot is designed specifically to deliver a rich, immersive solo gaming experience.
The developers have excluded couch co-op to ensure that every detail, from the visual presentation to the gameplay mechanics, remains as intended.
There hasn't been any official announcement about a future multiplayer mode.
However, previous Astro Bot games have included successful co-op modes, so it's possible that a multiplayer mode could be introduced later, once the graphics issues are resolved.
