Wako Tako Strategy |
---|
|
During the first phase, one way to damage Wako Tako is by targeting its gloves after one of its tentacle attacks.
Attack the gloves twice to knock it out.
Once Wako Tako is knocked out and enters a scared state, use your Frog Gloves to pull both of its tentacles.
Then, use the tentacles like a slingshot to launch yourself towards its face, delivering a powerful blow to knock it out.
After releasing the tentacles, Wako Tako will fall unconscious for a brief period. Use this opportunity to attack either side of its head, depending on how it lands.
Striking both sides will complete the first phase.

After the first phase, Wako Tako retreats, parting the seas and revealing platforming challenges. Use your Frog Gloves to swing across ledges and reach the second phase's location. However, be quick to avoid being swept away by the rising tsunami.
If you die during this platforming segment, don't worry, as you'll respawn at the checkpoint where the platforming begins.
The second battle area is much smaller, limiting your space to evade Wako Tako’s attacks, particularly during its Urchin Rain attack
After performing its Urchin Rain attack, Wako Tako will lower its eyes near the battlefield to search for you. This is your opportunity to attack its eyes, do this twice to stagger Wako Tako.
Once staggered, use your Frog Gloves to pull both of its eyes. Release them to launch Wako Tako into the air, finishing the boss battle.
