Building Speed Stage Available Starting October 17

As part of the DLC announcement on the PlayStation Blog, the Building Speed speedrun stage will be available starting October 17, 6AM PT.

The stage will feature a brand new stage along with a leaderboard system, allowing players to compete for the fastest clear time.

Astro Bot Will Have Free Post-Launch DLC

In an interview with IGN, Team Asobi's studio head, Nicolas Doucet confirmed that free DLC was planned soon after release.

Doucet mentioned that it will be based around adding more challenge levels to the game, with shorter levels focused on platforming challenges, but he did not share any more details about what else may come in eventual DLCs.

Might Have Paid DLC in the Future

Besides free DLC, we are speculating that paid DLC might also be released for Astro Bot.

This paid DLC might feature more rescuable Bots in PlayStation character costumes, given that the game already features around 150 PlayStation cameos already.

New galaxies might also be added with future DLCs, offering more levels and planets to play on.
