Switch via the Hero Info Screen

Navigate to the Weapons Tab
To switch weapons on the Hero Info Screen, first navigate to the weapons tab, which is the second tab on your character screen.
Keep in mind that in-game time does not stop even when the menu screen or character information is open. Thus, before switching weapons, make sure it is safe around you!
Select the Weapon Slot
Once on the weapons tab select a weapon slot that you want to switch to. If it is empty, click the Equip button and select the weapon of your choosing.
Note that depending on the character, changing your weapon type may also change your character's element!
Press Use to Change Weapon Type
After you've equipped the weapon you like best, click the Use button at the bottom of your screen to switch weapons!

Select the Character
You may also change your weapon type on the Team Setup screen. To do this, first click on the character whose weapon you want to switch. Make sure that the character is on the line-up first to change their weapon.
Click on the Weapon Slot
Once you've chosen a character, simply click on the slots on the left to switch to!
Keep in mind, however, that you will not be able to change the weapon on your slot in this screen; instead, you will need to do it through the character screen.
When Can You Switch Weapons?
Raise the Character Mastery Level for Weapon Slots
To allow your character to switch between weapon types, you must first unlock their weapon slots by increasing their Mastery up to level 30.
There are 12 weapon types, and each character can unlock up to three weapon type slots. Aside from the slots, you'll also unlock the Mastery level for each weapon type that a character can wield.
