Weapons can be obtained through draws in the gacha system. You need Star Memories to draw a banner, which can only be purchased using real money. There are Weapon and Hero banners that allow you to draw multiple weapons from a pool with a chance to get a high-tier weapon.

Weapons can also be crafted using the workbench. Higher-tier workbenches allow you to craft better weapons as long as you have the materials for them.

Weapons can also be picked up as loot while exploring the world. You can encounter them just laying on the ground or leaning on something. Just get close to them and pick them up. However, the weapons you'll encounter are mostly low tier.
Certain quests give weapons as a reward for completing them. You can also get weapons as you progress through quests via enemy drops and other ways.

Weapons can also be purchased from the numerous merchants scattered across the overworld in exchange for Gold.
Each weapon regardless of rarity has an Attack stat. Weapons that are Rare or higher have a bonus stat that varies depending on the weapon. SR-grade or higher weapons also have a passive skill that is determined by the Prefix in their name.
Each hero can equip up to three different weapons. During combat, the main weapon equipped provides 100% of its stats, while secondary weapons apply 30%.
Weapons can be leveled up or Enhanced using in-game materials, while Tier Up refers to raising the maximum level your weapon can reach. You can also put up to four Enchantments on weapons that give them randomized stats.
When you Limit Break a weapon, you upgrade its passive skill by using another copy of the weapon or fragments from salvaged weapons. This also increases the Attack stat of the weapon.
