This setup consists of Melodias's (Dual Swords) as the Main DPS, with his powerful Darkness attacks. The team rotation starts with Tristan (Dual Swords) and Tioreh (Grimoire) to activate a Fire element burst, then change it to Darkness burst with Bug (Grimoire), and apply a flurry of attacks with Melodias (Dual Swords).

To activate the Darkness burst, you must first activate a burst of another element. Once the other elemental burst is activated, use Bug's (Book) skill to change it to Darkness.

Best Weapon Type for Meliodas

Dual Swords Are Recommended

We recommend the Dual Swords weapon type for Meliodas since its fast attack speed can trigger his Speed Master Passive faster, which triggers Demonic Power.

Tristan as a Longsword User

Increase Damage Dealt to Enemies with Darkness Burst

Meliodas (Longsword)'s Passive allows him to deal increased damage when he uses his Normal Skill on an enemy with Darkness Burst.

Using the Normal Skill on an enemy affected with Darkness Burst will also decrease its own cooldown.

Use the Ultimate Move as a Finisher

Meliodas (Longsword)'s Ultimate move will deal additional damage to enemies affected with Darkness Burst. This also removes the enemy's Darkness Burst, so it's best used before the Darkness Burst duration runs out or the enemy is about to be knocked down.

Tristan as an Axe User

Charge the Special Attack

The Special Attack of Meliodas (Axe) can be charged up to deal significantly more damage. Just be sure to keep an eye on enemy attacks when using this Skill.

Using the Special Attack will activate Demon Energy, which inflicts more damage. You will also gain Infenal Release stacks, which increase Darkness damage, if Demon Energy is removed.

Teleport Behind Enemies with Normal Skill

Meliodas (Axe)'s Normal Skill can make him teleport behind enemies with Demon Energy. Using this on an enemy with Demon Energy will reset the Normal Skill's Cooldown.

Ultimate Move Resets Cooldowns Infernal Release

Meliodas (Axe)'s Ultimate Move can deal a lot of damage and reset the cooldown of all Skills if he has 3 or more Infernal Release stacks.

Tristan as a Dual Swords User

Enter Demonic Power Through Darkness Burst

To enter Demonic Power, apply Darkness Burst to an enemy and then attack with Meliodas (Dual Swords). Demonic Power will enhance Meliodas (Dual Swords)'s Special Attack, Normal Skill, and Ultimate.

Best Against Mobs of Enemies

Demonic Power is great when up against a mob of enemies since it can deal damage to surrounding enemies when combined with Meliodas' powerful attacks.
