While choosing based on damage output is generally sufficient, it's also best to consider how comfortable you feel controlling them since you'll be involved in combat for a long time.

Choose Support Characters with the Same Element

Once you've chosen your main DPS, select support characters with the same element to assist them. Characters with passives that trigger when the elemental burst is active are especially recommended for priority selection, as they contribute to increased firepower even when not in combat.

Additionally, there are also a number of characters that contribute to increasing switch and burst gauges you can consider. Keep this in mind when selecting your support characters.
