King (Staff)
Elaine (Staff)
Mannie (Staff)
Dredrin (Rapier)
This team focuses on maximizing King's (Staff) powerful Bloom effect, along with Elaine (Staff) providing burst damage and durability support, Mannie (Staff) enhancing firepower, and Dredrin (Rapier) contributing to skill rotation efficiency.
While the lack of a dedicated healer is a drawback, the massive damage from these stacked buffs is highly effective. You must approach combat with the mindset that "taking no damage" is your best defense.
| DPS | Support | Support | Support |
|---|---|---|---|
Diane (Axe)
Elaine (Grimoire)
King (Wand)
Tioreh (Staff)
This combination centers on Diane's (Axe) being the main DPS, who has excellent damage output and durability. Compared to other glass-cannon builds, this composition prioritizes durability, offering stability in combat.
In this setup, Elaine (Grimoire) and King (Wand) provide offensive and defensive support, while Tioreh (Staff) serves as a burst support damage dealer. While the team lacks a direct healer, Elaine's (Grimoire) powerful buffs combined with the team's increased defense significantly reduce incoming damage. This makes the team remarkably resilient to regular attacks, preventing HP from being easily depleted.
| DPS | Sub-DPS | Support | Support |
|---|---|---|---|
Elaine (Wand)
Tristan (Longsword)
Howzer (Gauntlets)
Hendrickson (Longsword)
This Wind element team revolves around Elaine's (Wand) critical damage prowess. It has a lineup of characters with buffs and debuffs related to critical hits and bursts, allowing Elaine's critical attacks to land more frequently.
The strategy is to use Tristan (Longsword) to apply a burst attack, followed by Howzer (Gauntlets) to reduce the enemy's critical resistance, and Elaine (Wand) to maximize damage output. While this team offers explosive firepower, it lacks healing and durability support, requiring you to be careful with positioning and execution.

|---|---|---|---|
Drake (Greatsword)
Gilthunder (Longsword)
Elaine (Staff)
Hendrickson (Longsword)
This Lightning element team centers on Drake (Greatsword) as the main DPS. By extending burst duration and reducing cooldown, this setup prioritizes high-impact single hits over the number of attacks, making it perfect for a hit-and-run tactic that exploits enemy openings.
This playstyle uses Gilthunder (Longsword) and Elaine (Staff) to inflict status ailments and debuffs. Once the groundwork is laid, switch to Drake (Greatsword) to deal massive damage.
| DPS | Sub-DPS | Support | Support |
|---|---|---|---|
Meliodas (Axe)
Tristan (Dual Swords)
Tioreh (Grimoire)
Bug (Grimoire)
This setup consists of Melodias's (Axe) as the main DPS, with his powerful Darkness attacks. The team rotation starts with Tristan (Dual Swords) and Tioreh (Grimoire) to activate a Fire element burst, then change it to Darkness burst with Bug (Grimoire), and apply a flurry of attacks with Melodias (Axe).
To activate the Darkness burst, you must first activate a burst of another element. Once the other elemental burst is activated, use Bug's (Book) skill to change it to Darkness.
| DPS | Sub-DPS | Support | Support |
|---|---|---|---|
Slater (Greatsword)
Tristan (Dual Swords)
Tioreh (Grimoire)
Guila (Sword and Shield)
This lineup consists of four F2P characters, making it incredibly easy to assemble. You may choose between Tristan (Dual Swords) and Slater (Greatsword) as your main DPS. Then, Tioreh's (Grimoire) debuffs are vital during combat, as well as Guila's shield, so you'll need to cycle through all four characters evenly.
Guila's (Sword and Shield) slot is flexible and can be replaced with another character that provides shielding, such as Dredrin (Sword and Shield). Choosing another character based on their passive skill to support the team is also a viable option.
| DPS | Sub-DPS | Support | Support |
|---|---|---|---|
Mannie (Longsword)
Jericho (Dual Swords)
King (Grimoire)
Elaine (Staff)
This team focuses on the dynamic duo of Mannie (Longsword), as the main DPS, and Jericho (Dual Swords), as a burst sub-DPS. The other two slots can be filled with general supports, such as King (Grimoire) and Elaine (Staff), who provide buffs.
This lineup has a decent amount of damage output when compared to other teams, but lacks elemental buffs that can further enhance its main DPS's damage.
① Decide the Main Element ② Choose Your Main DPS ③ Choose Support Characters with the Same Element |
Gaining an advantage in battle with 7DSO depends on how efficiently you can activate elemental bursts. Therefore, we recommend that you focus on one element as your concept and build a team that is filled with characters of the same element as much as possible.
Once you've decided on your main element, the next step is to choose a character with that attribute who will be your main DPS. While choosing based on damage output is generally sufficient, it's also best to consider how comfortable you feel controlling them since you'll be involved in combat for a long time.
Once you've chosen your main DPS, select support characters with the same element to assist them. Characters with passives that trigger when the elemental burst is active are especially recommended for priority selection, as they contribute to increased firepower even when not in combat.
Additionally, there are also a number of characters that contribute to increasing switch and burst gauges you can consider. Keep this in mind when selecting your support characters.
