Head to a pet's individual page to view instructions on how to get them!
Summon type pets are purely cosmetic pets that accompany you in your journey. These pets cannot be mounted, and do not affect your gameplay in any way.
Ride pets are pets you can mount to traverse the ground. These pets typically have higher speed, and can be used to travel long distances better.
Flight pets are mounts that allow you to move horizontally and vertically. While these pets are the slowest, they offer the most freedom when it comes to traversal.
Flying with a pet consumes stamina as you ride them. Once your stamina runs out, you will dismount the pet. Be mindful of your stamina as you ride your pet, as you can still take fall damage if you dismount from a dangerous height.
Glide pets are mounts that slow your rate of falling. These pets have decent speed, allowing you to control where you land and cross larger gaps.
Using your pets to glide also consumes stamina. Once you run out of stamina, your glider will break and you will be unable to mount it again to break your fall.
Some pets are rewarded to players as part of completing certain quests. Check your quest list to see if any pets can be obtained as rewards.
Defeating bosses and elite enemies can reward players with new pets. These are random drops which players need to obtain only once.
Some Monsters can be captured and used as summons and mounts. Refer to the codex to see which pets need to be captured.
