Cooking
Cooking allows you to make dishes that can provide heals and buffs to your party members. Each recipe has varying team buffs and heals so feel free to experiment and discover which meals work best for you!
Reach Level 3 on the Book of Stars to Unlock Cooking
You can unlock Cooking by reaching Level 3 on the Book of Stars. To level up, simply progress through Act 1 of The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin and you will gain enough EXP to reach Level 3.

Fishing
Fishing allows you to collect fish, an ingredient used for cooking dishes. There are many types of fishes that all respond to different kinds of bait so make sure to watch out for what works.
Progress through Act 1 until Tioreh Joins to Unlock Fishing
You will unlock Fishing as you progress through Act 1 of the Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. Once Tioreh joins your team as a permanent member, you are now free to roam any body of water to fish.

Capture
Capture is a feature that allows you to tame certain monsters as pets using capture items such as a Potion of Charm, which can be crafted in workbenches.
It is important to note that capture success depends on the capture item's effectiveness and level and the monster's base resistance. It is recommended to use high-leveled capture items or reduce the monster's HP before attempting to capture it.
Complete the How to Make Friends quest to Unlock Capture
You can unlock Capture by completing the How to Make Friends side quest in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. To start it, find Ashu to the left of the giant red tree located in the center of Liones. Follow and complete Ashu's instructions and Capture will be available to you.
How to Make Friends Quest Guide
Crafting
Using various materials at a Workbench allows you to craft new and useful objects to help you in your adventure. To craft, simply place a workbench down in an open area of the world.
As you create more items, your workbench level will also improve, unlocking a larger variety of craftables.
Progress through Act 1 until you unlock the Workbench to Unlock Crafting
You can unlock crafting as you progress through Act 1 of The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. Once the game prompts you to set up a Workbench, crafting will be available from then on.
Gathering
Gathering allows you to collect small plants, food items, and other objects found in the open world. Gathering is the easiest activity; it only requires you to interact with sparkling spots in the open world in order to collect it.
Gathering is Available From the Start
Gathering is available as soon as you are free to roam in the open world of The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. Explore the field and find materials that you can collect!
Mining
Mining allows you to obtain minerals found in the open world. Unlike gathering however, mining requires more effort to collect. When stumbling upon a mineral, you have to continuously hit it with Normal Attacks.
All characters have differing mining time, depending on the weapon that they are wielding. It is recommended to use a character equipped with a heavy weapon, so as to chip at the minerals faster.
