Mannie's Long Sword team comp focuses on this role as a DPS alongside Jericho in her Dual Sword form, providing bonus damage with Burst Efficiency as a Sub-DPS.

As Mannie and Jericho are the only Ice units available, the other two slots are filled with general-purpose Supports like King and Elaine, providing buffs to set Mannie up for big DPS during its uptime.

Best Weapon Type for Mannie

Longsword Is Recommended

Mannie's best weapon type is Longsword, since it makes her a great main attacker that deals Cold damage. Mannie (Longsword) excels in dealing sustained DPS rather than burst damage.

Although it takes some technique to consistently deal big damage, once you've mastered fighting with Mannie (Longsword), she can perform on the same level as DPS units of other elements.

Mannie as a Staff User

Increase Allies' Damage and Reduce Their Skill Cooldown

Mannie (Staff) is a versatile support unit who can increase the damage of allies' Ultimate Moves and reset the cooldown of their Normal Skills. Thanks to her utility, she is one of the best support units among the currently available characters.

Additionally, Mannie (Staff) can also increase the damage output of Combined Attacks, which makes her fit exceptionally well in team compositions centered around special moves.

Reduce Enemies' Elemental Resistance

Mannie (Staff)'s Ultimate Move can also inflict a status that decreases all Elemental Resistances of targeted enemies. This helps allies deal more damage with their attacks and is useful in a wide range of team compositions.

Mannie as a Dual Swords User

Increase the Damage of Cold-Type Units

Mannie (Dual Swords) is a Cold-type Sub-DPS who can increase the Cold damage output of allies' Special Attacks and Ultimate Moves.

She is great at reducing Cold Resistance, which also helps in boosting Cold damage. Mannie (Dual Swords) is best paired with Jericho, who shares the same element and also works well as an attacker.

Inflict Debuffs to Further Increase Cold Damage

Mannie (Dual Swords)'s Normal Attack, Normal Skill, and Ultimate Move can inflict a debuff on enemies that decreases their Crit Defense. If the enemy has maximum stacks of the debuff, additional Cold damage is periodically inflicted as a Critical Hit. When this is combined with her Passive, Cold damage can be increased by up to 50%.

However, the damage from Mannie (Dual Swords)'s debuff doesn't contribute to burst efficiency. Therefore, it's recommended to use her together with a character that excels at activating Cold Bursts, such as Jericho (Dual Swords).

Mannie as a Longsword User

Enhance Normal Attack with Normal Skill

Mannie (Longsword) is a Cold-type DPS who can fight with enhanced Normal Attacks thanks to her Normal Skill. While her single-hit damage is somewhat lacking, her sustained damage output is greatly increased through the damage boosts from her Ultimate Move.

Although it's somewhat difficult to consistently deal big damage with Longsword, the controls for the weapon are not that complicated. With this, Mannie (Longsword) works best in battles against groups of enemies during map exploration rather than in battles against powerful single bosses.

Deal More Damage Against Enemies While in Cold Burst

Mannie (Longsword)'s Passive greatly increases Crit Chance and Crit Damage when attacking enemies while Cold Burst is activated. Pairing this with the increased damage from her Ultimate Move, Mannie (Longsword)'s potential damage output is remarkable.

If you can further increase Mannie (Longsword)'s Crit Chance, she can function as a powerful Cold DPS that's on par with those of other elements.
