The Game Has Gacha Elements
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin (7DSO) is not a purely gacha-focused game, but it does include gacha mechanics as part of its progression system. Players can use in-game currencies and tickets to pull for characters, weapons, and other rewards through various banners.
While the game features open-world exploration and story-driven gameplay, the gacha system plays a key role in obtaining stronger characters and improving your team, making it an important aspect of overall progression.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin's Gacha System
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin has both a limited time and a permanent gacha where players can choose to pull SSR Heroes from.
The currency used to draw from the limited time banner is Hero Pick Up Draw Tickets while the permanent banner uses Regular Hero Draw Tickets.
You can use either 300 Star Fragments, 5 Stigmata Crystalloids, or 50 Stigmata Fragments to get 1 ticket.

Meliodas Pick Up - Featured Character Draw
The Meliodas Pick Up Character Draw, Timelines collide—Grand Cross! allows for higher chances of getting the Hero Meliodas, which will be available for new players on their first login. After 21 days, the Meliodas Pick Up Banner will no longer be available.
Demon Sword Lostvayne - Exclusive Skin Banner
Sacred Treasure: Demon Sword Lostvayne is Meliodas's Exclusive Weapon Skin banner, running from March 16, 2026 until April 8, 2026 (UTC). In addition to this Top Tier Reward, The Dragon Sin of Wrath, an Outfit Skin for Meliodas, is also featured in this banner as a Premium Reward.
New Encounters - Regular Banner
New Encounters is The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin's permanent banner. This is where you can get all of the standard SSR Heroes. Every SSR is guaranteed within 80 draws in the permanent banner while every 10 pulls guarantees you at least one of the SR Heroes.
The Call of the Stars - Beginners Banner
When you first start the game, you will be given the chance to pull on The Call of the Stars, which gives you the SR Hero Slater. After pulling on this banner, it will no longer be available.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Gacha Rates
Phase 1 - Version 1.0 Featured Banner Gacha Rates
In the Meliodas Pick Up Banner, SSR Hero Meliodas has a pull rate of 0.4% while other SSR heroes have 0.05714% chance.
Phase 1 - Version 1.0 Exclusive Skin Gacha Rates
For the Demon Sword Lostvayne Banner, you have a 0.25% chance of drawing the Top Tier Weapon Skin Reward, a 0.5% chance of pulling The Dragon Sin of Wrath Premium Reward, and varying chances ranging from 1 to 2.5% of getting Normal Rewards.
New Encounters - Regular Draw Gacha Rates
In New Encounters, each SSR Hero has a 0.1143% chance of being drawn in this banner. Meanwhile, SR Heroes have a 6% chance of showing in a single pull.
