4 New Pals, New Weapons and Island Revealed at Xbox ID Partner Showcase

4 new Pals, 2 new weapons and a new island were all revealed at the April 29 Xbox ID Partner Showcase!

These will be added in the upcoming Summer Update and will include what appears to be a Relaxaurus Botan, Pheasant Pal, Fox Pal and a Frog Pal, as well as a Flamethrower, Laser Gun and Japanese inspired island!

Palworld Summer Update Announced

Possible Release in 2024

Palworld just announced that they're planning a “larger, more content-packed” update this coming summer of 2024!

Fans of the game can expect this update to drop around June to August 2024 during the summer season.

Arena PVP Release Currently Unknown

Palworld's 3v3 PVP Arena is still up in the air if it will release along or before the Summer Update. The teaser showcased players fighting alongside their Pals in the Arena, and it is possible that we get a ranking system or rewards for playing in PVP modes!

More Announcements During Xbox Showcase

Palworld will be featured in the ID@Xbox Showcase on April 29, 2024 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET.

New information is expected to be revealed for Palworld during this presentation. We might be able to get a glimpse of the features to be added in the summer update, and there may even be a reveal for its release date!

A big summer update calls for new and exciting features for Palworld. Here are the features we can possibly get from this update:

Palworld Arena PVP

A 3v3 PVP Arena was also teased by Palworld to be released in 2024! The Arena appears to be a separate instance, similar to that of Dungeons, and will be a part of the base game.

New Island in Palworld

Palworld has confirmed that a new island is coming to the game in the Summer Update. You can explore this new island and it's very likely that you can build a base here too!

New Pal Teased: Quivern Botan!

Along with the PVP Arena announcement, Quivern Botan was also silently dropped as a new upcoming Pal! It was seen next to an Incineram Noct and the new Bellanoir Libero.

Unreleased Pals May Appear in the New Island

Unreleased Pals such as Dragostrophe, and Boltmane may finally appear alongside new Pals within the new Island.

New Tower Bosses in Palworld

Palworld's Summer Update will also introduce new tower bosses!

Come up with new strategies to defeat these bosses within the time limit and be rewarded with Ancient Technology Points. You can even try using the new pals you've obtained to get to know them better.

New weapons are coming in the Summer Update as well. Equip your character with these weapons to help with survivability. You might even be able to equip some of them to your Pals!

New buildings and structures will also be available to construct when the Summer Update has officially launched.

With all the changes that are coming to the Summer Update, it's likely that there will be new raid bosses as well.

More might be coming to Palwolrd and join Raid Boss Bellanoir.

Progression Carry-Over

Following the formula of Survival Games, it is possible that we will see a mechanic that allows us to transfer our Pals and Equipment from Palpagos to the new Island.

If this mechanic is introduced, it will make the story more linear, and offer an experience akin to a New Game Plus from other RPG Titles.
