How to Get the Key

Found in Abandoned Facilities in Moons

Keys can be found while exploring the abandoned facilites in the Moon you landed on. The spawn rate of this item will vary per run, so be sure to collect it when you spot one!

Can Be Stored in The Ship

Keys can be stored in the big red storage cabinet located in your ship. Remember that you can only store up to 45 items, so always make room for the important items!

How to Use the Key

Press LMB When Facing a Locked Door

To use a key, equip it first then face a locked door. Then press LMB to open it. Using a key on locked doors is always quicker than using a Lockpicker.

Can Only Be Used Once

However, keep in mind that using a key on a locked door will consume it completely. Use it wisely!

Keys Are Conductive

Be careful when equipping a key during a stormy weather! Doing this will attract lightning strikes to a player, which can kill them instantly. Best to avoid these types of weather completely!
