How to Get the Zap Gun

Get Zap Gun by Buying From the Terminal

You can get Zap Gun by buying from the terminal in you ship for 400 credits. To buy this item, go to the terminal port, press the E button and type in "STORE". From here, type in the name of the item and the desired amount you want to buy.

How to Use the Zap Gun

Press LMB to Scan and Target

To use the Zap Gun, simply press the Left Mouse Button (LMB) to scan and target enemies. It will automatically target the enemies detected on close range and shoot out a beam of electricity to stun them.

Will Not Work on All Monsters

Keep in mind that some monsters, such as Circuit Bees and the Ghost Girl, are immune to the Zap Gun. They will continue attacking even if you try to use it on them.

Swipe Left and Right to Prolong the Zap

Upon hitting your target with the Zap Gun, quickly swipe left and right to keep the beam of electricity from breaking. If you fail to do this, it will release the hold on your target and enter a five-second cooldown.

Additionally, if you break your hold on monsters, they will become more hostile, so make sure you have another player hitting them with other weapons, such as the shovel, to kill them.

Zap Gun Will Not Kill Monsters

Using the Zap Gun will only immobilize targets. It will not damage anything caught along the electricity and will only hold your target for a duration ranging from a couple of seconds to a minute, depending on the length of your shot.
