Frostspire Expanse Pickaxe Progression

Your first target in Frostspire Expanse will be the Frost pickaxe, using the Arcane Pickaxe to skip tiers. After upgrading to the Void Pickaxe, use it to break the Iceberg in the Frozen Lake and unlock the Prismatic Pickaxe. Then, complete the Raven Questline to unlock the Dragon Head Pickaxe.

Break the Iceberg and for the Prismatic Pickaxe

Mine Iceberg

The Prismatic Pickaxe can be found behind a large iceberg in the Frozen Lake in Frostspire Expanse. Players will need at least the Void Pickaxe to break the Iceberg.

Complete the Goblin Lord Questline

Talk to the Goblin Lord for Quests

The Goblin Lord can be found in the Goblin Cave of Frostspire Expanse. Completing his quests by donating ore and money will reward the player with the Goblin Crown recipe.

Complete the Raven Questline

The Forge Raven Location

Players can also unlock the Raven Set of heavy armor by completing the Raven Questline. After unlocking the Raven Cave, complete the requests of the three NPCs in order to be rewarded the recipe for each piece of armor.
