Collect Money and Essences from Enemies

Defeat Mobs

One of the best ways to earn money in The Forge is to keep fighting enemies. Enemies drop extra money when you defeat them, on top of dropping essences which you can sell for additional profit.

This is the most efficient way to progress through the game, especially in the mid-to-late game.

Farm in AFK Spots

World Area and Requirements
Forgotten Kingdom (Ashen Passage)
World 2 AFK Spot Ashen Passage
Head inside the deep area of the Ashen Passage blocked by two rocks.
Minimum Stats:
DPS: 200
DEF:750
Forgotten Kingdom (Volcanic Depths)
World 2 AFK Spot Volcanic Depths
After entering the Volcanic Depths, make your way just before the lava pool to find enemies spawning in.
Minimum Stats:
DPS: 250
DEF: 1000
Frostspire Expanse (Spider Cave)
World 3 AFK Spot Spider Cave
Near the Spider Cave entrance close to the pebbles, spiders will spawn in periodically.
Minimum Stats:
DPS: 200
DEF:1000
Frostspire Expanse (The Peak)
World 3 AFK The Peak
In The Peak, head to the right passage to find a large hall with enemies. You can stay here to farm them.
Minimum Stats:
DPS: 500
DEF:1200

Certain spots in the world allow you to AFK farm, as enemies will respawn periodically. Ensure you have decent armor and damage per area to earn money quickly! Furthermore, try to enchant weapons with Drain Edge to gain health back.

Sell Forged Weapons and Armor

Sell Equipment

Aside from enemies, forging armor and weapons can generate a lot of money quickly. Farm a lot of ores and craft equipment in bulk before selling to Wo.

If you're having a hard time with limited stash, you can get the gamepass to double your storage and save more ores!

Sell Heavy Chestplates and Colossal Swords

Heavy Armor and Sword

The best equipment to sell are the Heavy Chestplates and Colossal Swords. If you're trying to earn money, forge them in bulk and sell them. Take note that rarer weapon and armor types, as well as better ores, also contribute to price value.

Complete Quests

Aside from enemies and forging equipment, completing quests give a lot of money. Try to accept them while clearing out enemies and mining, as it might save you time with the quests' objectives.

Where to Spend Money

Buy Pickaxes

Pickaxe Buying

You will primarily spend your earned money on better pickaxes. Try to be efficient with it by skipping certain pickaxes per level.

When buying pickaxes, we recommend equipping the Goblin race if you have it to purchase them for 12% less gold. You can also sell your pickaxe for 75% of its value, so you can buy the next tier a lot faster!

Upgrade Weapons and Armor

Forging

You may spend money on weapons and armor through the Enhancer to raise their DEF or DMG, as well as unlock Rune Slots. Just be mindful of your essences, as upgrading equipment might fail!
