Ore Stats Explained
| Rarity | A classification that groups ores together based on how special they are. |
|---|---|
| Chance | The chances of obtaining the ore from a mined rock. The higher the second number in the fraction, the lower the chances. |
| Multiplier | Determines how much the ore boosts the base stats and selling price of weapons or armor that it's used in when forging. |
| Price | The value of the ore when you sell it in shops. |
| Traits | Passive buffs that can be granted to weapons and armor when the ore is applied in forging. |
| Rocks | The type of rocks that the ore can be mined from. |
How to Get Ores
Mine Ores From Rocks
Ores can be mined from rocks found across the worlds of The Forge. Rocks have a set amount of HP and you need to use a pickaxe to break them down. Depending on the required mining power of the rock, you'll need stronger pickaxes to get rarer ores in the other worlds.
Reset Rocks to Get Better Ores
The ores in a rock are reset when the rock replenishes its HP after a period of time. This means you can leave a rock at half HP to see the ore inside first. If you want a different ore, you can just wait for the rock to return to full health and break it open again.
This method is very useful for farming rarer ores from rocks that don't frequently spawn like Heart of the Island and Floating Crystals.

Ores are used to forge different types of weapons and armor. The type of ore and the amount you use in forging will affect the resulting weapon or armor that you get. If the ore you use has a trait, you can even add passive buffs or abilities to your forged weapons and armor!
