Gargantuan

Gargantuan Ore Index
Gargantuan currently has the highest multiplier in the game, and is undeniably the best ore to craft weapons with. It provides massive AoE Damage and Damage over Time, making it highly effective in both single and multi-target scenarios.

Golem Heart

Golem Fight
Despite being a new addition to the game, Golem Heart has quickly become an essential ore to farm for when crafting weapons. It provides 40% Critical Hit Chance, making it vital for full crit builds.

Stolen Heart

Stolen Heart Ore Index
Though incredibly difficult to farm for, Stolen Heart has the unique trait of providing Lifesteal. This enables players to forgo allotting the Drain Edge rune. This means you can slot in other damage runes while still healing back enemy damage.

Duranite

Duranite Ore Index
Duranite has one of the best defensive traits in the game. Aside from a high multiplier, it also provides 20% Vitality and a 25% chance to reduce incoming damage by 25%. Crafting armor with at least 30% Duranite provides players with a substantial boost in survivability.

Etherealite

Etherealite Ore Index
Etherealite can provide the biggest Vitality boost in the game. When added to armor, it can provide up to 35% Vitality, while also having a fairly high 11.1x Multiplier.

Heart of the Island

Heart of the Island Ore and Stone
The Heart of the Island Ore can provide both offensive and defensive traits, providing both Vitality and an innate Rage Mark rune. This makes it one of the most useful ores to use when you have them.

However, it is also the most difficult ore to farm for since it can only be obtained from the Heart of the Island Stone, which only drops 1 ore at a time.
