There are different ways to upgrade your equipment in the game. Upgrading your weapons and armor is crucial especially when nearing endgame content. Enemies are tankier and deal more damage, so it is best to prepare to clear the later stages in the game.

Enhance Weapons and Armor

Enhance Weapons and Armor

You can enhance weapons and armor by going to the Enhancer. Enhancing equipment will increase its stats multiplier and add a rune slot. Enhancing will cost money and essence, and at higher levels, the chance of successfully enhancing will decrease from 100%.

Add Runes to Weapons and Armor

Add Runes to Weapons and Armor

Your equipment can open up a rune slot after enhancing. Runes are items that add different traits to armor, weapons, and pickaxes. Runes can be obtained through drops by certain enemies.

Proceed to the Runemaker to add runes to your weapons and armor. Select the runes you want to add to your equipment. These runes can add a main effect and additional stats to further enhance your playstyle.
