1. Gather Materials Needed 2. Select Your Ore 3. Blow Wind to the Furnace 4. Match Arrow in Yellow Zone to Pour 5. Time Your Strikes Right |

Before you can even begin Forging your equipment, you have to have some Ores on hand. They can be mined using your Pickaxe on Pebbles, Rocks, and Crystals.
Your chances of obtaining rarer materials, compared to common ones, will depend on your current World, equipped Pickaxe, and factors that affect your Luck stat.

Once you have enough ores collected, head on over to your current World's forge to begin the process. Select if you want to forge a weapon or a piece of armor, then choose your materials.
You need to have at least three pieces of material in order to begin forging, regardless of them being different or the same.

The first step of the Forging Process is to melt the materials. You need to blow wind into the furnace using the tool on the left side my moving it up and down. Continue to do so until the meter on the right side of the screen is filled up.
With the materials melted, you have to pour it to a cast. Move the cursor on the meter and maintain it in a moving yellow zone to continue the pouring process.

With the material smelted into the armor or weapon shape, now its time to shape it with hammer strikes. Time you strikes right with a moving circle as close as possible to a static circle. The better the timing, the better the end product. Try to hit Good, Great or Perfect on your strikes.
After the weapon is cooled down via water, the weapon or material is ready to be used!

The amount of ore used during forging greatly affects your chances of obtaining specific armor or weapon types. Using the correct ore combinations can give you the highest possible chance to forge your intended item type.
Note that while ore count affects the chance of obtaining a specific weapon or armor type, the exact item you receive from that type is determined by a separate random pool. This second layer of randomness is not influenced by ore type and is purely chance-based.
| Weapon Type | Ore Count | Percentage |
|---|---|---|
| Dagger | 3 | 100% |
| Straight Sword | 6 | 86% |
| Gauntlets (World 1-2 Only) |
9 | 65% |
| Mace (World 3 Only) |
9 | 65% |
| Axe | 12 | 72% |
| Spear | 16 | 69% |
| Great Axe | 22 | 67% |
| Colossal Sword | 36+ | 61%+ |
The table above shows the complete ore count needed to reach the highest forging chance available for each weapon type. Note that weapon ore counts for the Gauntlets and Mace are only applicable depending on your current world.
| Weapon Type | Ore Count | Percentage |
|---|---|---|
| Light Helmet | 3 | 100% |
| Light Leggings | 8 | 67% |
| Light Chestplate | 10 | 86% |
| Medium Helmet | 13 | 60% |
| Medium Leggings | 17 | 57% |
| Medium Chestplate | 21 | 63% |
| Heavy Helmet | 26 | 51% |
| Heavy Leggings | 30 | 49% |
| Heavy Chestplate | 36+ | 64%+ |
This is based on World 3 Forge Standards.
This table details the ore count needed to get the highest forging chance possible for each armor type. Note that these counts are based on the forging chances in World 3 and may vary slightly depending on your current world.

Adding more ore to the forge increases the overall item multiplier, which is calculated by averaging the multipliers of all ores used. For this reason, we recommend forging weapons and armor with ores that have the highest multipliers possible.
You can still include lower-multiplier ores, as long as they are offset by higher-multiplier ones to maximize the final result.

Some high-rarity ores come with Traits that are only applied to an item if used in sufficient quantity during forging. The ideal ratio is 30%, meaning that to apply a specific trait, that ore must make up 30% of your ore blend.
For example, if you’re using 9 ores in total, you’d want to use 3 different ore types with 3 of each to ensure all three traits are applied.

One way to speed up forging is to purchase the Fast Forge Gamepass for 119 Robux. Although it doesn't automatically complete the forging process, this feature lets you skip the wind-blowing and pouring steps, making it faster. It can be toggled on or off at any time, so you can still go through every forging step if you'd like.
