Pickaxe progression in Stonewake's Cross is fairly straightforward. Farm until you reach the Golden Pickaxe, then start saving for the Stonewake's Pickaxe.

This should allow you to efficiently farm all the way until World 2, also letting you skip the Platinum Pickaxe and get the next tier pick.

Stonewake's Cross Secrets

Enter the Secret Cave

The Secret Cave can be found near the entrance of the Cave. Upon entering, make an immediate left and walk into the shrubbery. This is a false wall that leads to a nook where you can find the Bard's Guitar.

Find the Hidden Roof

On the house next to Tomo the Explorist, stand on the barrel and jump. At the peak of your jump, roll into the corner of the roof. This is a fake wall that will allow you to clip into the house. Take the ladder down and you will find the Hidden Roof with the Lucky Blocks.
