Do A★3 Anomaly Quests for Specific Monsters

To get Afflicted Scale, you have to go on A★3 Anomaly Quests to hunt down specific Afflicted Monsters. We've listed them below for your convenience. For every broken part and every carve (body or tail), you will have a 40% chance to get Afflicted Scale.

You can also obtain Afflicted Scale from breaking parts and carving the same monsters listed above in Lv. 21–30 Anomaly Investigations.

Beyond these levels, you may receive anywhere between 1 to 5 Afflicted Scale as a Quest Bonus Reward in addition to the higher tier afflicted material, but you won't get them as carve or break rewards anymore.

We recommend hunting an Afflicted Anjanath with a Light Bowgun build like the one linked below to easily farm for Afflicted Scale.

Use this ranged weapon to create some distance between you and the monster to lessen the risk of being hit with a powerful move while dealing damage from far away as quickly as you can.
